OK, I am still in. I haven't been doing my streaming work outs, but I have been walking a lot. I haven't been sleeping too well, so I am just so tired in the day. I don't feel like I have the energy to do my typical workouts, so walking will have to suffice for now. I think I'm just stressed about this job thing. LOL
I'm so sorry to hear you're not sleeping well. Have you tried relaxation yoga or a tea like sleepy time? I hope you're sound asleep and dreaming sweet dreams. xoxo

I didn't work out yesterday, my hip was a bit cranky. I am beginning the think, from Googling around, I have hip impingement. -_- I read up on it, but I stopped. It was a bit too depressing. I have always been very active my whole life and I am rewarded with cartilage issues. Boo.

And, yesterday my husband was offered a job at the OCC. This is literally, the only offer he has had since he's been applying for jobs in August. We have two locations to choose from Pittsburg and southern New Jersey (suburban Philadelphia) I am really tired of moving and I have never been to either to place. I know I should be happy, but I am not.
Sympathy like. Have you been to the doctor about your hip? I just had an injection on Friday for an infected Bursa. I've had problems for 6 months with my right hip and at first the doctor thought it was a tiny tear in the muscle that should heal on it's own. When it didn't get better, I went back. I hope it's fixed now, but I'm not supposed to work out for 3 weeks. :(

I haven't, no. My husband is unemployed right now and I don't want to rack up medical bills if I can help it. I can walk without pain, it's just doing things like rotating my hip out ward and trying to sit in "Indian-style/ criss-cross" that is challenging. I took four days off and it seems like it's calmed down.

An injection in your hip. What was that like? Ouch. I hope your three weeks of rest goes by quickly. I hate not being able to work out, it helps me relieve some anxiety.

Never tried turkey meatloaf. Have had a few turkey burgers and liked them OK. May give turkey meatloaf a try sometime. Thanks for the idea.

Your meatloaf pictures had me drooling!!! As for ground turkey, I've never tried that for meatloaf either. I use ground bison for meatloaf.

However, I use ground turkey in my chili. It's cooking now in the crockpot for 6 hours on low. It's easy to make (you do have to brown the turkey first, in a frying pan, and then transfer to the crock pot with the ingredients like beans, some chili powder and ground cumin, chunky salsa, diced tomatoes and scallions. Because of all the other flavors in the chili, you don't even realize that you're using ground turkey--if you weren't told, you'd probably think it was ground beef.

Hello
I went back to my work outs after a four day rest and I am glad I did. My hip wasn't so cranky during my workout and it seemed like a little bit of my range of motion was back. :)

I have to cancel our Mediterranean cruise. :( I'm so bummed right now. Oh, well.

I make an "unstuffed" cabbage roll casserole with extra lean ground turkey. By the time it gets mixed up with the tomato sauce, you can't tell it's not ground beef and nobody here has ever complained or questioned what it was. LOL

I've used ground turkey in chili too and Italian Turkey sausage in Spaghetti sauce. Meatloaf mine anyhow I'd notice if it was Turkey. Not to say it would not be delicious but like Turkey Bacon very different.

The like was for your hip doing better. But please be very careful. I'm so sorry you had to cancel your cruise hopefully next year you'll be able to take one.
