@MR FERRET Come back here and tell us what your doing. I love this idea Figgy came up with. We get to inspire eachother to be healthy and to feel good!

Well we changed our diet in June and began eating LCHF (not everyones cup of tea).
We have both lost weight through it and feel much better
We have started walking about a mile and a half everyday or an hours swimming , it all depends on the weather.
Both of us are sooo looking forward to the upcoming trip and new wardrobes we both have to buy :)
Only downside is that our wedding bands no longer fit ( they drop right off our fingers) :( But are going to look at Disney for new ones :D

Forgive me, I don't know what LCHF is... But, if it works for you and your wife and it sounds like it is, GREAT!!

What fun to look for new bands in the World! You truly have something to celebrate!

Good morning! My shoulder is almost back to normal. Trying no Advil today! I can finally wash my hair with two hands. LOL
I walked inside yesterday due to the cold. Today hoping to do my 3.5 miles outside! I need to get outdoors and get fresh air!
With time change this weekend, I can wait until my DH gets home after work and we walk together again. He walks treadmill at night while I walk after lunch.

Glad to hear your feeling better Boomer! The weekend here is suppose to be beautiful. I to look foward to seeing the sun!

Another chilly start in Orlando, but it's warming up quickly. I almost feel guilty that the NYC weather is supposed to get nice for our return this weekend!

Did Jessica Smith's "Ultimate Boot Camp Workout" this morning, just the abs and lower body sections, because they use no equipment.

Happy Friday, everyone!

I am checking in with the "strength" practice from Ultimate Yogi. I bought a very expensive yoga mat a few months ago and I am slipping and sliding all over it. It's preventing me from going deeper into the poses. I think I am going to have to break down and buy an equally expensive mat towel for it. Boo.

I am eagerly awaiting some Spring temps and I just noticed yesterday it was still sunny at 5:30 PM. The clock changes this weekend, too. Doubleplusgood! ;)

Glad to see we (my DW and me)are not the only ones who are trying to be fitter for Florida :)
Last June we changed our lifestyles completely and have started excercising more regularly since the begining of the year.
Fingers crossed it has all been worth it when we go back to the world
Congrats and welcome to the thread glad to see all men are not couch potatoes! It will be worth it just do your best and you will reap then rewards of a healthy lifestyle!:)

Glad to hear your feeling better no advil does not mean you can lift yet! So take it easy a little while longer! I wore weighted gloves and ankle weights for extra resitance so I've got your back with the stregnth training for a little while longer! LOL Just keep up with your walking and you'll bee 100 percent in no time! Best wishes and pixie dust Figgy!:)

You go girl! Making time to work out in the world can be difficult at best so a super big CONGRATS to you!!!!!!!:)

Happy Saturday am to all those looking to improve both minds and bodies and you too @real mad hatter we love you any way! Although a little brisk walk now and then might be good for you! Today is the start of a busy weekend just did 10 miles with my Leslie Sansone dvd now I have to get moving I have so much to do after being shut in with my kids so it's off to the grocer and plumming supply place have to change a faucet later as I have one that has a nasty drip and I don't like it so off with it's whatever a faucet has! Enjoy your weekend and keep moving I hope we are done with winter because I want to start walking outside and I hate the cold!
