Who am I? Who am I?? I am the guardian of lost souls! I am the powerful, the pleasurable, the indestructable Mushu... er 626 (Sorry, having a Mulan moment ;)) Hello, I don't believe we've met :D

Well, sure it's strong enough. I mean, it's a big boat, and there are clubs and restaurants there, not to mention the pools and the secluded island resort... You're bound to find love there one way or another.

err... This is what this thread is about, right? :lookaroun

   good one    :p :p

Just remember to be realistic.

If you're looking for perfection, or that perfect Disney happy ending, you're setting yourself up for disappointment. It's not fair to expect another person to live up to Prince Charming. The beauty of being in a relationship is developing a perfect emotion for an imperfect person, and receiving the same in return.

When I say "don't look for love" I realize I may be giving impossible advice. So let me re-phrase. Don't look too hard or you might miss the forest for the trees.

I also believe that you have to have faith and it will happen. . . you just can't put a deadline on love. . . :p You have to keep an open mind and an open heart. She could be the person driving behind you, the person at the next register at the grocery store, the next person you meet at the coffee shop. Or she could be farther away and fate is not yet ready for you two to meet. . .

Personally, I want to find love and share my life with someone who will love me for me that I can love him for him, not because we met at the right time, because he was looking and I was "good enough". I am not sure about everyone else, but I know too many people who got married because it was "the thing" to do, everyone eklse was doing it. Now, many of them are divorced or very unhappy. I want to make sure it is really real and true and something that will last. So, I am now just looking to enjoy life and if it happens, great, but I will not put my life on hold to find love. There are so many things to do and enjoy in life. Sure, some may be better to share with a special someone, but why wait? Maybe I will meet them in the process of having fun anyhow! If the magic of Disney is strong enough to help me find love, I will never know if I do not go because I am waiting for them before I enjoy Disney!?! Good luck all in our quest for love! :king:

Someday my prince will come. . .
Have faith in your dreams and someday
your rainbow will come smiling through,
no matter how your heart is reeling,
if you keep on believing,
the dream that you wish will come true. . .

Can't argue with you there. I think some of these people also got married as they were in love with the idea of marriage rather than the person they were marrying.

I found love one time...it was hiding under my couch cushions, with half of an old Snickers bar and $2.78 in change. I tried to grab it, but it put me in a headlock and sat on me, leaving me all bruised. Then it locked itself in my bathroom with the USA Today. I banged on the door after about 20 minutes but love just said "Wait your freakin' turn!" Finally, love finished and I was able to get in the bathroom. That day, I found out that everything they say is true.

Love hurts, you can't hurry love...and love most definitely stinks.

First off, stop looking and love will find you. Always happens that way. Second of all, aren't you like 20? You got a lot of "road" to cover. There are many failed relationships before you find the one. Also, your opinions and preferences are gonna change to. The one today may not be the one a year from now. Its tough, real tough. Espescially when you find the one, it all works out, you get married under the castle. The true test of life begins here. Hope this helps...

Glad you liked that. These are the kinds of things that result from me being bored at work. :p

Finding love is hard for a fellow like myself. Being over weight and not very outgoing, its hard. Where I come from women are shallow and stuck up. All they care about is if you are fit, good looking, make of car, and money clip.
Its like I want to move and start all over.

Welcome to the boards!!

Let me tell you, the same goes both ways. Guys are very superficial, and I've had to deal with that all my life. I've had many guy friends over the years because turns out I'm a very likeable person. I used to be extremely shy, but over the years I've become more outgoing. I'm still reserved, but I'm not afraid to speak up as much anymore. Anyway, despite my wonderful "personality," I've never gone beyond guy friends so yeah I can understand how you feel. Oh well . I believe everyone has their soulmate, so I hope to find mine one day :D.

Sounds exactly like me. That's why all my best friends are guys...... I'm always the "little sister" (or big sister, depending). *sigh*

That's kinda why l began this thread, besides hoping to find my own disney princess, l've found out disney folks are some one the nicest people you'll ever meet (example the helpful threads found on this site) no matter in the parks, world of disney stores, online, etc. l belive the disney family(everyday people who visit the parks and who love and enjoy working a disney) in general belives differently than the rest of the messed up world. Least the magics alive in one form or another.
