Woman claims to have been beaten in line

Think about it....

This is Disney, they jump and stomp on things like this. The last thing they need is bad publicity. If she was beaten she had to do something to provoke it,, not that anyone deserves to be beaten, but what are the odds of her just standing there and out of no where someone just starts beating on her. I too looked at the pictures and I see no marks, so I'm sure she will live. Even if it wasn't as serious as she claims they (Disney Security) would have done anything necessary to rectify the situation.

Why doesn't Disney have cameras all over the place? They have them in many of the rides, why not outside as well?

And in many of the rides, they don't have them. There are lots of spaces that are not covered by cameras. Not saying this is one of them, but saying 'everything is on camera' is not true.

While this is true, I think it also can be inferred that there are no marks on her neck because women are biologically inferior, so the female 'perp' here simply didn't have the strength to make any marks. That doesn't mean it didn't happen, though! :lookaroun

Women are "biologically inferior"? Do some homework. I'm simply stating that your information is untrue. If you want to know why what you are stating is untrue and actually opposite, look it up, I don't need to spend the time educating you.

Are you trying to start a war of the sexes here? BIOLOGIALLY INFERIOR? This sort of sexist talk should not be allowed here at all and I'm reporting your post.

Hi, I don't really post on this site alot, but as I was on here I saw this topic and I can tell you all what really happened. This weekend I was in Disney, from Friday to Monday, and I was on the teacups when this incident occured. I live in Ohio, so I was wondering what had happened with this, and yesterday I did a google search just out of curiosity to see if there was a news story and I had found the one at the begining of the post. It confused me at first because it said that she was online. This is what happened and I remember it well, because to be perfectly honest it was the craziest thing that I have ever seen at Disney. I got into my teacup, and I put my backpack down and was sitting down and I heard a scream. I immediatly looked to my right and standing five feet away in the next cup was the incident. By the time I looked over I saw a woman pulling another woman out of the teacup, she had her arms wrapped around the other woman. I did not know what to do I was stunned, I wanted to jump over and try to pull her off but I realized that I am small and would have been of no help. Within two seconds there was a man and the ride operator pulling the woman off. She kept lunging at the other woman, and they finally separated them. I got up out of my teacup and went and comforted the crying little girl, whose mother was being pulled out of the cup. Her sister was with her, and she calmed down. The CM then took both parties and had them wait outside so he could go call for security. We waited around for a while and security and some higher ups came over. I approached one of the CMs because I wanted to tell him what I had seen, and he said that they were ok. I did not want to get involved, but I am a former CM as I did the college program last year, so I just wanted to make sure that they knew what was going on, because it seemed like a she said she said incident. about ten minutes later, we stayed and were talking to another family, he came back and asked me what I had seen. I told him and then he told the other man and we stayed and watched them escort the one family away, and eventually the other. I know that things like this are bound to happen, but thats what I saw. I wanted to clear up what happened, she was getting in the teacup, not online. It was as I said before the weirdest thing I have seen in Disney and I honestly did not know what to do. So thats it, just wanted to let you all know what really happened.

So it seems someone was overzealous on getting on that particular cycle of the teacups? This post helps clear some things up, but was it just the woman pulling on the other? No striking or "beating about the neck and " as alleged by the complaintant?

Update on the tempest in a tea cup...

WESH 2 is reporting that the alleged attacker has been brought up on felony charges. Victoria Walker was arrested at work in Alabama, and brought to Orange County to face charges. The alleged victim, Amy Krause, states 'she thought she was going to die' when she was attacked on line for the Mad Tea Party.

She now states she was with her children; I do not recall original reports stating that her children were with her. Krause states the alleged attacker accused her of cutting in line, and 'that's when she started screaming' at Krause, then punched her in the head repeatedly. Krause now claims she suffers from seizures, memory loss, and blurred vision, and that her 'family is suffering... my life is forever changed because of this'.

The alleged attacker's family claims that Krause pushed the woman first, and was ignored. When Krause pushed at the woman a second time, they started tangling. When the seriousness of Krause's injuries were noted, the authorities decided to press felony assault charges on the woman. Deputies initially allowed both women to go on their ways.

At the end of the interview, the woman's family member states 'she's a church going woman' and has never been in any trouble, and Krause is shown to reply, 'If she is a church going, she can have a Bible in jail, and she can worship God there'. Which I thought was the best part of the entire story, of course.

This is a sad story. I really feel bad for the kids who witnessed this. And all because someone thought somebody cut in line for the Teacups.

I agree where are these so called bruises that are visible? There is not even a discoloration anywhere that I can see. I also agree that the first words out of my mouth wouldn't be call the sheriff. Also what happened to the attacker? Did they stay in line? Take off running? No description has been given.

2 Days ago I saw a woman blatantly cut a really long line for dinosaur fastpasses. I mean she walked up, took one look at the big line and just proceeded to cut everyone and get her fastpasses and off she went. I can't say I would have minded some teacup beatings.

My 2 older daughters have been in martial arts for nearly 6 years now and I have seen them both deliver and receive some pretty wicked blows to pretty much every part of their body on a regular basis with out so much as the first dizzy spell and this woman is calming all this over a few smacks? Sorry I don't buy it. She probably went to the same doctor that gave the kid that was mauled by Tigger pain killers.
