I enjoyed the opening Cermonies. The disco music was composed??? I used to mix music at nightclubs, and believe me, I could have done a better job...But at least the music was in english! LOL
I heard that the USA just won a gold in speed skating! GO USA!

I don't think that the Hockey teams expect a real challenge till Canada Plays USA!

True enough...

I wonder how fast Stadio Olympico is emptying out at the moment?

Whew! 16-0 final!

That has to be one of the highest scoring Olympic hockey games ever!

Can't really blame Italy, though... they were outclassed in every department.

EDIT: Found this out: Italy has 200-300 women hockey players. Canada has about 60,000.

So will Michelle Kwan drop out?

Ok, I have been a MIchelle Kwan fan for years, and I have cheered her on, even when the odds were not in her favor....BUT>>>
I think she should have just dropped the olympics if she truly has an injury and is not on top of her game. Why not let the stronger skaters who have a better chance to represent our country go for it?? She knows if she can handle it or not....but at least let the officials know before too much longer...Geeze....:brick:

That's unfortunate. They have Jamie Sale and David Pelletier, the Canadian Duo that got a gold in the Salt Lake City games as correspondants. Gotta love Jamie Sale... :slurp:

I felt kind of bad for her last winter olympics when she missed the gold again because another young skater beat her. Kwan did make a mistake during the last show though when she took that fall.
