In order for him to point out certain people in the crowd and identify them by the color of their shirts or somehting like that, there's a little control behind it sometimes.

I've seen him interact with the crowd at times. Similar to crush. That has to be done with voice talent.

I was told it was an actor who pre-recorded tons of stuff and a CM is behind the scenes interacting with the quests but you never hear the CM. There is no way they could get enough actors for 365 day out of the year that sounds like the real actor. Notice how all the interactions are vague and could be said to anyone with glasses or a red shirt...

Good point. Effective. Possibly same tech for Pooh?

Talk about destroying the magic. Disney had me going on that one.

Yeah, that's correct. Don Rickles recorded a large number of lines for Mr. Potato Head. A CM controls and chooses which lines are used every day depending on who's in the crowd, what they're wearing, etc.

Speaking of the Pooh ride, rode it today and noticed that in the first show scene, blustery day, all the overhead white worklights were on and you could see all the metal beams and ceiling and black sheets and junk above the sets. I was getting SSE decent dejavu, but anyway not sure what was going on, it was only in that one room.

I noticed that the first time I rode it. It really ruins the scenes IMO.

I actually am really getting excited about this exterior refurb! Can't wait to see pics when it's done and to see it myself next March!!
