They're only re-doing the ride queue right? The actual ride should be operational for the Feb-March time frame...right? I missed the chance to ride it when I went in 2008 and my BF promised we'd ride this time...

The ride will be closed Oct. 25 to Nov. 14 for internal work, but as of now it's not scheduled to be closed during your trip. :)

Never thought I'd be this anticipated to see the result of queue work. I can't wait to get our first taste of Fantasyland Forest. (Or whatever they're calling it now.) :sohappy:

I totally agree! I can't wait to see the ride and Pooh's Hunny Tree all fixed up. It makes me feel really excited to see Pooh Bear at the Crystal Palace. He's the only character I didn't get to meet in my previous trip.

Ditto and ditto. Really eager to see the new queue and theming surrounding the ride. And we're not usually ones for character meals, but my wife is looking forward to her birthday breakfast at CP and a hug from Pooh.

Some new info:

1.) The ride will reopen on November 15th, but the queue will likely not be finished. The tenative opening date for the queue is the 18th, three days later. When the ride reopens, the outside will be similar to the way it is now, with the new queue behind walls and a temp one working around it.

2.) Fastpasses won't be available again until the new queue is fully open (not on November 15th, when just the ride will be open).

3.) Pooh's Thotful Shop will be renamed to 'Hundred Acre Goods', and will be closed for two weeks (I believe it was November 1-14) for a redecoration of the inside.

See, that's how we're celebrating my 25th birthday! I get to have dinner at Crystal Palace with my BF on our first day of vacation. I;m very happy, and will be so much more happy when I get to ride the attraction.

If this is the case, we will miss the new queue by 2 days. Bummer.

Looking at the latest construction pics, I'm getting a little concerned that they aren't going to retheme the top portion of the facade. I'm hoping I'm wrong but that area hasn't even been touched yet and it's supposed to be completed fairly soon. It'd be a shame to put so much into the bottom half only to leave the top part the same...

The new queue will be open tomorrow. :) I saw them take down the tarps after closing tonight. They were also testing the queue throughout MVMCP.

Also, here's what I know about the queue:

Rabbit's Garden involves water, the vegetables in it make noises when you squeeze them, there are pop up Gophers, Piglet's House has a door you knock on to make something happen, and Tigger's Bouncy Place has some kind of pads that you step on, and they either make noise or bounce. Also, the queue has 220 speakers. That's a lot of noise!

Thanks for the news, Neverland!
Here you are some pictures of some of the things you're talking about:
