Setting up a an eBay item is a good way to do it, but we would need to wait until we get a decent commitment to do that. If we get ten or more, let me know and I can get the ball rolling.
I figured as much about the ebay part of it, but I wanted to wait until I got word from you that it was ok etc.

Ill let you know. I have gotten 1 commitment.

I just found out how much our group shirts cost. The total order was a little over $300. Each shirt came to about $13. If anyone is interested or just wants more info feel free to send me a message.

Florida v. Alabama

It just hit me that the Alabama/Florida game on October 2 is going to be a night game.

If by chance there are any Wine and Dine event organizers checking this forum, would you be so kind as to set up big outdoor projector screens at the starting area and near the corrals to televise the game for us? I know it is a CBS game, but we will be at the Wide World of Sports.

I think my request is quite reasonable.

Well, it is already been scheduled for a 2:30 kick off. You would have to be there REALLY early to see the game. Hope this helps.

My parents will be ditching my family that day in Epcot to go to the ESPN zone to watch it. I love college football, but I only get to see my Epcot every 4 years. Ill DVR it. :D

I could have sworn they moved it to primetime. I hope you're right that it will be at 2:30.

I must have some weird Disney/Tide/Gators thing going on. This past December, my wife and I made a trip to California for a conference for my work, and we squeezed in a few days at Disneyland Resort. We were in Disneyland Park and Disney's California Adventure the day of the SEC Championship game. We ended up walking over to the ESPN Zone in Downtown Disney eat dinner and watch the second half of the game. Good times.

They might have. I cant get a confirmation on any site, but recall hearing 2 weeks after the NCG that CBS already claimed it. Well, not sure, but we will see in a few weeks when all the networks scramble for their games. Im not sure about nationally, but knowing that cbs loves the SEC 2:30 slot time, I can only see maybe 1 more game that they would cover in our conference. Maybe. Florida and Alabama would be the marquee game of the week assuming both still undefeated.

Florida at Alabama
Tennessee at LSU
Georgia at Colorado
Kentucky at Ole Miss
Monroe at Auburn
Vanderbilt at UConn
Alcorn St at Mississippi State

From the Disney Endurance website: "The Inaugural Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon has reached capacity and registration is now closed. The next opportunity to run with us at WALT DISNEY WORLD is in January at the 2011 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend."

As discussed in this thread and the others, since it is closed and at capacity, I wish they would post an official race course.

It was reported on the other thread that 2,000 relay participants and 7,500 individual participants. That is HUGE from what I have run before. The 2 I have run in only had around 1,500 and 750 I think. Thank goodness for the corrals. :D

It is huge compared to most local runs, but yet is still only half the numbers they get for the 1/2 in January. The corrals are helpful, a good pacer also helps alot. I haven't seen any info about it, and the Clif team that usually does the Marathon weekend doesn't have it on their schedule.

Huh. So there is a person in each corral that will run that pace so you can keep up with them etc. That is very nice. I havent been involved in a race of this magnitude (attendance). That is really nice. I hope they have someone doing this for this one.

I ran behind 2 different people for my 2 halves before and it seemed to really help since their stirde was an inch or 2 longer then mine. It made me work and stay the course.

In running the half marathon in 2009 and the full in 2010, I never understood it was Disney providing the pace groups. I understood entities like Team in Training took that on for themselves and their runners.

Course looks great. This has me pumped all over again! The medals are always cool, but I'm extra excited about Spaceship Earth being the focus. VERY cool!

The pics came in an email from Disney. They're small, but you can see them.

First one is if you run it alone, and the second is the relay.

Clicking the link in my post will redirect you to the PDF of the course map. That came in the email, too.
