Wild Animals in Adventureland???!

There's also the African something-or-other (a bird) that has taken up residence in Epcot around the Odyssey ponds. From what I've heard it's an escapee from Animal Kingdom. They used to capture it and bring it back to AK, but it kept leaving. After a few times doing that, they decided to just leave him be. If he preferred living in Epcot, why not let him? (I'm sure there's a few people on here that would have that preference, too) ;)

I've seen plenty of bunnies in MK (especially around the Wishing Well on the side of the Castle in that grassy hill area) and deer several times leaving the MK parking lot at night, but no cats.

Adorable. EPCAT!

Is EPCAT related to Monorail Cat?

When I stayed at Pop Century in September 2006 I saw a couple of stray cats, but I haven't seen any at the parks.

But I guess if I were a stray animal, I would want to be on WDW property too, imagine all the good stuff you could find in those dumpsters!

sounds like a pretty smart bird. Camp Minnie Mickey, or future world? hmmm... what a tough decision

my favorite was the wild turkey that was crossing the road behind the mk last week by the pyro launch site. It stopped traffic for at least a minute because it stopped on the road.
oh no! The turkeys want vengeance for taking their brother's legs and cooking them!!

We saw a cat in Tomorrowland. We were riding TTA and I saw it running down below near COP. When we got off, we went looking for it and found it hiding in the bushes in front of COP. It was not happy with being discovered. We left it alone.

Yes, the one that hangs out by the old skyway station. I see him/her all the time.

When I worked at SSE, we had a stray that would hang out in the rocks near the mural at the entrance. Let's just say he wasn't the nicest animal around.

Not entirely off topic but I was sitting outside backstage at Epcot last night waiting to clock in and a few friends and I spotted a black cat running toward the back of Mexico. I didn't think much of it until it went into the light and I saw that it was huge! Like bobcat huge! Then I thought: Isn't a black bobcat also called a Panther?!! My friends say they are around the area though.

a black bobcat would simply be a melanistic bobcat, not a panther. and a panther is actually a melanistic leopard/jaguar (just thought i'd add that in as well lol)
