How similar is it to the golfing on Wii Sports?

Oh man, it makes Wii Sports look like a joke.

It's SO MUCH BETTER! It really takes into account wind, your strengths/weaknesses, you can take practice swings, you can play the entire tour. There are some "Challenge Games" in it too (see if you can drive the ball through some rings...taking wind, power, and club into account).

Wii Sports Golf is just a "demo" for what the Wiimote can do...Tiger Woods '08 is the real deal.

I got mine around Christmas 2006 after standing in line hours at the local Circuit City. I love my Wii! haha I currently have both Super Paper Mario and Super Mario Galaxy. Can you tell I'm a Mario addict? Oh and I used to have The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess but sold it after beating the game. That was one of the best games I have ever played. Oh and SMG is amazing...

EDIT: I also have that Wii Zapper thing some people were posting about. Honestly I would not reccomend buying it. It's a lot better to used the wiimote and nunchuk seperately.

Other than updating the system and getting the new channels for the system the online capabilities for the Wii are a pain. You have to have everyone else's friend code to play with them.

Whuh? You can't just get online and join a group of people? You can do that with the DS...why wouldn't it be the same?

Thats oh so very true. Practically every event that you play has you using your arms at such a fast pace, it kills after like 5 mins lol. :ROFLOL:

Yes, Zelda is game that once you have played it and finished it, it tends to just sit on the shelf and not be played for a long time. You can only defeat the final boss and watch the cinemas so many times, lol. Definitely not all in a row either.

It was released in Japan on 12/1/7. I have not seen any official dates (Nintendo says first quarter) but from what I hear it will be in Europe in about a month and in the US in around 2 months. So far over a million copies have been sold in Japan alone.

That might actually help cure obesity in America. I always wanted to make a recumbent bike that you could attach a game system to and have it to where the game system will not work unless you are pedaling. I bet I could be down to 12% body fat from Halo 3 alone.

Thanks! The last I had seen was a Feb. release date for the US, but had not seen any pre-order offers. I am looking forward to it!!!
