Next is the semi finals.
She seems like a lovely young lady, with great family support.

At the start of the tournament ( I just learned this moments ago ) Leylah was ranked 73rd in the world). Now she's beaten the #2 ranked player and she's going to the Finals. Very cool!

I find it amazing just how many thing can be combined with Peanut Butter.

  1. Mixed into oatmeal.
  2. On waffles or Pancakes.
  3. In a no-bake protein-packed cookie (1 cup sugar, 1/3 cup butter, 1/4 cup peanut butter, 1/4 cup milk, 1 and 1/2 cup oats, 1/2 tsp vanilla, 4 tsp cocoa — and mix).
  4. On a banana.
  5. On celery with or without raisins.
  6. On apple slices (cinnamon optional).
  7. Mixed in a smoothie (with just about anything: bananas, chocolate, espresso, avocados, kale…).
  8. In a quick-and-easy spicy peanut sauce (2 parts peanut butter, 1 part soy sauce, and sriracha to taste).
  9. On toast, with bananas and honey.
  10. With some sugar and an egg, baked into peanut butter cookies.
  11. Smeared on a slice of dark chocolate.
  12. Smeared on slices of fig.
  13. Spooned in with yogurt and granola.
  14. On two slices of white bread with jelly in the middle (not just for kids).
  15. On a fried egg.
  16. Baked into a homemade energy bar.
  17. On bacon.
  18. Melted and drizzled onto popcorn.
  19. On a cracker with sardines.
  20. In, on, or around pretzels.
  21. On leftover pancakes, fresh from the toaster.
  22. Smeared on bread in a cheddar-and-apple sandwich.
  23. On a hamburger.
  24. On a “hotdog” (Bun, banana, peanut butter, and jelly).
  25. On a crêpe with strawberries.
  26. On a graham cracker.
  27. Mixed into a cold-noodle asian salad.
  28. Mixed into cole slaw.
  29. On grilled chicken.
  30. Dipped with a veggie tray.
  31. Blended into plain hummus.
  32. Stirred into a stew.
  33. Spooned from a jar.
Just to name a few. I like it with potted meat and cheese as a sandwich. Combined with Strawberry preserves and fresh tomato sandwich. I often took PB and Sandwich Spread sandwiches to school. Cinnamon Raison Bagels by itself or with cream cheese. Between two slices of cheese. On saltines. It is quite possible that I get most of my protein from Peanut Butter.

I also add a bit of garlic powder when I make the spicy peanut sauce, and I use chilli paste instead of sriracha. It's really good on chicken, pork, or just to dip bread into.

Well that was a very disappointing NFL season opener for me.
Mike’s Eagles won. He was surprised.

Looks like your team got shellacked. Sorry ‘bout that.

In other news, Jays have won 11 of their past 12, and scored 46 runs in their 4-game series against Baltimore this weekend … and two of those games were only 7 innings each. 😲
