Ack! Brain fart - my friend (SIL's SO) lives in the John Hancock building, NOT Sears tower. I went up to the observation decks in both buildings, on different visits - but with the same people. Hence my confusion. I really don't visit as much as I should - my SIL usually comes here.

I've heard several people express that same sentiment....It's just not the same when you "like" then "unlike", "like" then "unlike", "like" then "unlike"...

Just ask @Nemo14
Is that the same as where a guy "likeslikes" a girl but the girl doesn't "likelike" the guy, only "likes" him and it's awkward because he doesn't just "like" her, he "likeslikes" her. Then he does everything he can to make her "likelike" him, not just "like" him but she still doesn't "likelike" him. Then when she realizes she "likeslikes" him, not just "like" him, he doesn't "likelike" her anymore, he only "likes" her. Then they don't "like" each other at all for a few days until one calls the other and they decide to "like" each other again but not "likelike" each other. Which lasts a day then the guy starts to "likelike" the girl again even though she doesn't "likelike" the guy, she only "likes" him and the whole process starts over again.

Boy I do NOT miss junior high.

That's okay. My daughter's godmother works on one of the top floors of Terminal Tower. After we visited a few times when she was really young, she told everyone that's where her fairy godmother lived. :) Ah, the minds of children.

Ya..what you said, I think! Just as long as you know that I know that you know that I know what I think you are talking about, then we should be OK.o_O

So far this week I've had to 'unfriend' five people on my Facebook account. Two were childhood friends, one family member, and two that were 'friends of friends' that I more or less knew.

One was spouting racist comments, one sympathized with child molesters. Another kept posting the "terms of service repost this and your account will be safe" BS thing that I'm sure you've all seen going around if youre on Facebook.

But it's the "all muslims deserve to kill themselves" one that really got me.

I just can't believe people can be so... I don't even know what to call this. Heartless? Selfish? WRONG?

I think I need to stay off Facebook for a while. I mean, how am I supposed to fill my quota of cute puppies and adorable cat memes if people are nonstop posting this crap? :(

Had to vent. A little upset at the whole ordeal.

Back on topic. Not afraid of heights, but you'd be hard pressed to convince me to walk onto anything clear hanging anywhere 30 feet or more above the ground. Although I was at the top of the Empire State building a million years ago, during a middle school field trip... and hated it tremendously.

I used to work near the top of the tallest building in Pittsburgh, and I can confirm that they DO sway with heavy winds, heavy rain storms.... and especially, earthquakes. An itty bitty 3, 4. nothing hit here a few years ago and that building solidly moved and everyone freaked out and ran down 40+ stories of stairs and outside....and refused to go back in. lol
Facebook is overrated.

Well lots of bars are the second requirement of a trendy neighborhood. Then again my neighborhood has lots of bars and its not that trendy.

This is why bars are universal (and I don't mean USO)...
For the trendy to celebrate their "trendiness", and for the rest of us, that don't give a rip one way or the other, to just go knock back a few.

And, as far as Myface, Spacebook, or whatever goes...
Never have, and never will start an account. My old, bad, self has a hard enough time keepin' up with the 2 unofficial Disney sites I'm a member of, and I don't feel the instant need (or any need, for that matter) to tell everyone the last time I had a BM...

I just had a great BM. I BMed for this craptacular weather, my reluctance to put suitable pants on, and the lack of salsa in this house. It's. all. Meg's. fault.

Also economic conditions, famine, war, poverty, winter, my pumpkins not turning orange fast enough, disney not building crap fast enough, Mexican restaurants charging too much for a burrito and finally, Christmas decorations in October at all the stores.

Ok, rant over. For now.

So I watched the old Batman movies with Michael Keaton this afternoon and even though by today's standards they are probably cheesy but I forgot how much I liked them. I guess maybe it's because I really enjoy Tim Burton's work.
