We played London Bridge as kids... that counts doesn't it?
I only read the book. I think my kid has only seen the movie. Future children will have played the MMOG. And their kids will call books stupid as they have data injected directly into their cerebrums via Google Brain or iBrain.

The wars of the future are MS / Apple wars, be aware of this!

As a side note, that video is how I'd open my CIS101 classes when I taught college. They'd walk into a dark classroom, and I'd have their names on their desks on a placard using glow in the dark markers for their names based on my list...they'd stumble in a bit confused, and I'd be sitting outside and would start this up on the projector with the 5.1 system from my house about 5 minutes after class start.

I have never been good with card games. If I learn them I quickly forget them within a day after playing. I can remember Blackjack, but the rules aren't overly complex. Over the years I have played many, many hands of Cribbage, but then I don't play for awhile. Guess what, I have to learn it all over again. I retain nothing except the phrase "15 two, 15 four, 15 six" everything else is gone completely. And that would be the reason that I don't gamble. That plus I'm too cheap and unwilling to lose money. :grumpy:

My parents used to throw Bridge parties when I was a kid and I was put to work serving adults food and drink (something which I recall brought me great pleasure...being able to stay up late and serve adults...SO COOL!)

Anyhow, after a while I began to learn the game, and read Omar Shariff's columns daily in the Washington Post (and other periodicals)...

Funny how that game seems to have disappeared. I haven't heard of people playing it socially in years.

My sister's in-laws play competitive bridge. Their last tournament was in Walt Disney World. Kind of makes me wanna learn to play!!
