For those keeping track at home....

And how I'm going to get this, plus ceramics, snowmen, and floral arrangements all on to one six foot table... Well, I haven't gotten that far yet.

IE, I haven't a clue.

Not that I have any experience (or talent) in this field, but I have been to some craft shows (as a customer) over the years. You probably won't be able to fit everything on your table, but I've seen many crafters who have items next to their chairs behind the tables, and the simply replenish the main table as items are sold. Also, are you allowed to display a few things on the floor, directly in front of your craft table, or would that be a tripping hazard for people strolling through?

Now THAT is a GREAT idea!!! I'll bet the seniors will be thrilled to see all the dogs. Dogs are very therapeutic. Some hospitals and nursing homes have a day each week when volunteers bring in their dogs to visit. Smiles abound! :joyfull:

My MIL assisted living center brings Pups in 3x a week and I guess they are considering more. They are different groups of dogs each time and some seniors have their favorites and even lay claim to Their Dog! When my kids go they take Walter to visit her. He likes all the attention but is not fond of the moving elevator.

Let me see if I can jump inside the picture and see where it ends. I'll be back in a few minutes.

Hey everyone, I'm trying something new here. I'm replying to my own thread! Hahahhaha . . . :p (I wanted to finish my reply to MOXOMUMD, but wasn't sure how to do that, so I hit Reply.)

O.k. @MOXOMUMD , I just returned from the picture, and the pier ends in Bora Bora. It was a nice night for a stroll.

Oh that is so sweet that Walter visits. They must just love him! As for elevators, escalators and automatic doors, all dogs get spooked by those.

Hey, what lids?? I got gypped!  Do they sell lids for the coffee cups? I know they do for the tumblers, but haven't seen any shown for the coffee cups. That would make a lot more sense to have a cover, as that would definitely keep the coffee hotter for a longer time. I also really like the size of the coffee cups, too.

The 24 ounce lid fits the Tervis Coffee Mugs. Ordering is expensive because of shipping but if you have a Bed Bath and Beyond, they sell Tervis stuff including replacement lids. Also note that if your mug or tumblers ever break their seals you return them and they replace them.

And here are some for @StarWarsGirl95

That's very helpful information. I do have a BB&B not too far away. Think I'll poke around there this weekend and see if they have the 24 oz. lids.

Walter is the most Unique dog I've ever had. He behaves as if every human on earth is meant for him. There have been a handful of men, some with dogs other not that I've passed on the Riverwalk that I have to hold on tight because he goes guard dog ballistic. It is odd 'cause he favors men so I trust his judgement.

Walt is known in our town by just about everyone, many come out of their homes as we go on our twice a day 2.5 mile walks. We had many people give him Halloween trick or treats. Happy Pup. But still he is a guys guy mostly. Happiest with my DS and the man across the road that has treats for him, lets him out, walks him when we are gone, takes him home with him too. He snuggles with my DD but I am his Alpha. I trained him, fed him, bathe him. When he is a mule he ignores everyone elses instructions or commands. But if I just say, come here, he does so. Drives my DH nuts. But he picked my DS as his people, strange because for the most part DS didn't live here most of the time we have had him.

I couldn't possibly be so lucky.

Phone interview sucked. Totally cookie cutter, no personality, five questions, three minutes, and regurgitated script reading the whole time. All this for a 9.50 an hour job, that I wouldn't be able to pay my rent on let alone move or buy a house.

Next.

I'm sorry. Sure hope yesterdays works out better for ya.

My DD's interview #4 with this University today went a full hour with this large University. This time with the Director, a solo interview this time. She said he was nice and asked some good interviews questions and then role played with her. The duel interview last week inserted role play also into the interview. She believes the whole thing went well but still very guarded. At the end he asked her what she also thought of another position that was similar but in a different department. Now that threw her. She said she gracefully answered that she is open minded but really could not comment further since she had not researched the position which was true. She wished she knew where he was going with that as it could have been something better, equal or just a trick question to see if she was focused.

This career stuff is rough on you guys! Sympathies.
