When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I have divided the next two and a half months into manageable chunks:

- The next two weeks, I will be psyching, prepping, and packing for Disney.
- The following two weeks will be spent vacationing, unpacking and doing laundry.
- The following two weeks are kind of in limbo, until we get until the end of November.
- The following four weeks are holiday time. Stringing lights, putting up the tree, decorating, wrapping gifts, baking .... I love everything about Christmas.
- The following week is decompression time; doing final preparations for Son #2's departure.

And then ... they're gone! Please join me in a chorus of Hallelujah!

And then, I will be down in that basement, ripping up all that stained and bong-water soaked carpet, hauling it to the curb, and dancing naked on that bare concrete floor.

Okay, not dancing - 'cause y'all know I can't dance.

I've had a really crappy couple of days. Can ya tell?

On the plus side, I spent more than seven hours with the boss today, and pretty much confirmed the site I want of the three upcoming projects.

She finally understands why I want it. (Money, baby. I don't work for the satisfaction.) She has agreed that I am the best fit for that site.

Approx. 40 houses, priced from $1.2 - $1.4 million.
Beautiful model home. Compound with four other builders, means enhanced security vs. sitting in a trailer in the middle of a field.
Only drawback, brutal drive.

Oh wow! I could totally see you being a visual merchandiser. You can think and see things abstractly, most can't. By your craft arts and your home you have talent for setting a store.

My first thoughts went to havin' the freedom to create fabulous holiday windows!
Fingers crossed it's, possibly, somethin' like that, or somethin' @Soarin' Over Pgh can work up to...! :)

If you're going to be standing naked on a Canadian basement concrete floor in January, one can only assume dancing will not be a choice, but a necessity for keeping warm!! :p

About 1:15, each way, if I take the toll route. Maybe 1:45, if I don't.

This is Phase 2 of the site Hubby just finished. His 407 bills were in excess of $500 each month.

Lots of money to be made. But that kind of coin for toll charges just irks me.
