1:45 - do I grab that early night, or do I read your awesome report?
Decisions, decisions ....

Seriously though, I am very impressed with the quality of your photos, your insightful commentary, and your irrepressible sense of humour! Well done, so far. I

I am also quite proud of your English. Considering it is not your "first language", you speak/write it better than many.
And, only one "due of". ;)
yikes.. any other errors I missed?

Cesar, I am really enjoying your trip report. Your pictures are wonderful and your commentary relates a happy trip experience for you and your mom.

I might add that the pictures you just posted yesterday on the 2nd page of the thread (the most recent ones with the ship, mountains, blue ice, princess meet and greet, etc.) were lovely; but I think because there were so many of them, my computer sort of froze after quite a few. A prompt came up on my screen, which said the computer was not responding, and I had to shut everything down and turn it back on. So, I could not see any photos past the great ones you had of Minnie dressed in the warm Alaskan coat out on the deck of your ship. I know nothing about computers, but do you think that maybe if you put a few less pictures in each post (in other words, if you had 3 posts, could you maybe in the future, break that down to 6 posts, spreading out the pictures? I hope that doesn't sound stupid, but it was just a hunch I had. You're far better at computers than me, so maybe you might know how to fix this. Then again, maybe I'm the only one with a computer that freezes with so many pictures.)

I loved the blue ice floating around in the water. The little islands you photographed were so cute, too! You and your mom looked so nice, all dressed up for dinner. The cruise ship is very attractive. Glad you had fun!

Happy picture of the day from my trip. I do not know why, but this is my favorite corner that usually no one ever goes into...

Yes! This is one of my favorite little nooks as well. As you said, not many people venture into this corner, because there's "nothing to do" there. That's precisely why I love it. It's peaceful and a charming little corner to relax with a cup of coffee and a sweet treat!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't there used to be stuff to do?
I have a vague recollection of a flower cart (?), a caricaturist, and bistro tables and chairs.

Help - am I making this stuff up?

So I was reading something and it got me thinking....what stores will you never shop at or try not to shop at?

For me, I don't shop a lot but....

I try not to shop at WalMart. Happened once or twice years ago.
Hobby Lobby is a definite no. And there's probably more but that's all I can think of for now.

I will never shop at Talbots again - their quality has gone downhill, but their prices are still high. I bought an outfit which had a jacket, skirt, and sleeveless top designed to be worn over the skirt, with the jacket. The jacket didn't cover the top in the back if I moved. I also purchased a silk blouse at the same time - it was so thin I had to wear a camisole under it.

The Talbots in Woodfield Mall, suburb of Chicago left a couple years ago. There is an outlet near my Mom's that I'd often purchase dresses and suits from for a couple of decades. Last time few times I was in there it appeared they were selling clothing that was never in there stores. All of it was very matronly.

One of my No Mores is now Famous Footware. They use to have mid-range shoes but now that they have gone from leather to faux leather, at the same price point I am done. I'm also not a fan of the practice of needing to buy two of anything to receive a sale price.

I miss the Barber Shop being down that road. It was a great place for little kids to have their first and last photos taken.

My youngest daughters BFF, when they were young that was all she ate. I indulge in a can every now and then. Just open the can and eat them. Nothing is as good as cold spaghetti-O's.

Gotta love a "Get Smart" fan.

Georgia-Woman Jailed for One Month After Cops Confused Her SpaghettiOs for Meth.

She was released from jail after the lab found the substance to be SpaghettiOs. It is rumored that the arresting police officer, when reading the lab report said "Uh-ohspaghetti-o's"

You can tell there was an eclipse last day. Maybe a full moon. Anyway, the crazies are out driving. Anyway, I brought my brother to school.

1. Americans can't do rotaries. For some reason a town near me decide to convert stop signs into a rotary. First of all, the rotary is too small for if a car is in the rotary, one has no clue where they are going. So today I was at the stop sign before going in and some lady (old) beeped at me. There was a car near me on the rotary and I didn't know if he was turning or what. Like seriously lady.

2. I took the motorway home afterwards. I passed a lot of cars to the left of me. Not going fast. Just doing 65. I was in the slow speed lane, 4 lane highway. Not a problem until this car comes into my lane like 500 feet back and speeds up so I slow down, not slamming on my breaks but just enough to not to pass the car on the side of me so the lady wouldn't get what she wanted, which is to change lanes again in front of the car in the line. Anyway, she changed lanes behind the car and had to wait until she had room. In the end...she caught up with me again. I was a half a mile ahead of her and it turns out she looked like an 80 year old lady who shouldn't be driving.
