Seriously, you ask me such questions? :hilarious:

I
Do
Not
Cook!

Pre-stuffed Butterball turkey (cooked from frozen).
Mashed potatoes with skins still on.
Steamed fresh baby carrots, with butter and brown sugar.
Canned corn.
Pillsbury Crescent Rolls.
Semi-homemade gravy - made with the water from boiled giblets/neck, pan drippings, and 5 packets of Clubhouse turkey gravy mix.

Not so impressed anymore, are you? :)
sounds good to me

I'm from MA and as kids, we always said bubblers for water fountains (must be a New England regional expression). (Hey, @Goofyernmost , was bubblers the term used in Vermont as well?)

Stuffing is what I make with turkey, and dressing is something I always associate with salad dressings, for example. I guess you and I speak the same "language" !
Nope. Never heard about it until I read it hear on that post. MA has a language of it's own anyway. Care for a tonic?
So ... I got tired of waiting for my new 64G iPhone 6 plus to come in, so I sucked it up and bought a 128!

Probably not worth the extra $100, but I am soooooooo impatient.

(Also, my nephew, to whom I am giving my old iPhone 5, was getting equally anxious.)

Love the new phone, but holy smackers, it's big! Doesn't fit in my front purse pocket, nor in my car's cup holder. I can easily buy a new purse. Not so much a new car!
Isn't it funny how when cell phones first came out they were huge and the big thing was to have the smallest cell phone of anyone. Now it's back to big again. Really when you think about it, people are actually bringing their portable TV with them wherever they go. Doesn't anyone ever look up from a screen anymore?

What made you expect things to devolve into an "us vs. them" situation in the first place?

Respectfully, your question could have been worded more accurately. I didn't "...expect things to devolve into an 'us vs. them' situation in the first place". But, when they clearly were, based on what I've seen on this thread, and others since I've been here, in terms of undercurrents and dynamics between members, it was pretty clear to me how it was all gonna' flesh out. At this point, I would really find it hard to believe that I would be the only one to see this comin' like a freight train over the last few months.
Even myself, who tends to avoid drama at all costs and usually just whistles past the graveyard to post another silly pic with a bunch of smilies, couldn't seem to keep myself from postin' a stupid comment about all the ridiculousness I was seein'. It was just mind-boggling. Regarding said post, my sincere apologies to anyone that post may have hurt or offended. As I said, A darn stupid move on my part.
But, let me also go on the record as saying I think this whole situation S**KS TO HIGH HECK.
Adults acting this way to each other.
Plus, it hit me earlier that the Holidays are right around the corner. And correct me if I'm wrong, but, I remember us all havin' pretty darn happy holidays last year.
Just sad...

I for one, am just gonna' do my best to go back to my usual whistling past the graveyard, silly, smilie-postin' self, and try to avoid all the carp. :)

My day, so far...

Cat woke me up earlier than I needed to be up.
I tossed her out and went back to sleep
I overslept after that
The one day that I didn't want to walk down the hill to Subway because my asthma's been bad is the one day that we didn't have anything for me to take for lunch at home
My stupid phone drained its battery, which was full, overnight
My Windows tablet didn't charge, so it's only got half a battery. I didn't realize it until getting to school and don't have its power cord. Thankfully, I can function on my fully charged Android tablet for today.
I had a group presentation today. I get a message at 10 am, two hours before the presentation, with one guy saying why didn't I add his slides to the PowerPoint presentation. No email from him with said slides nor did anyone tell me that he had something to add. I end up having another girl who lives on campus add them.
Same guy posts that he is going to be late for class. This disrupts my plans of going to class and leaving after our presentation to go do a nebulizer treatment for my asthma.
Have I mentioned that my asthma has been much better since my doctor put me on Dulera over the summer? That is up until I got a bad viral infection over the weekend. Felt absolutely aweful yesterday, still under the weather today
Because I was unable to use my nebulizer when I needed it, I'm going to have to leave accounting early. That class is one of the worst ones to miss. At all. But I'm going to need to be able to breath.
Same guy who insisted his slides be added but then said he would be late doesn't show up at all
Girl who had the PowerPoint on her flashdrive has a flashdrive that wouldn't work on the computer. We log onto the Facebook page for our group, and ask the professor to turn off the projector while we do so. Professor says no, it shouldn't be a big deal since the password won't be shown. Well, we get onto the Facebook page, and no-show dude has posted something that says, "Guys, I'm f----ed" which shows to the entire class.

So now I really just want to go home and crawl under the covers and not come out.

Yikes!
Another sympathy 'like".

I wasn't trying to be snide with you. The word "Picturing" just made it sound like you were expecting it to me. I was just curious, not looking to start a fight with you.

Neither I with you. I knew that. I was just tryin' to clarify and condense my thoughts for you as best I could at the moment without writing some long, sickening missive. ;)
It's all good. :)
