When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
On the plus side, I'm probably closing down my farm.
I've maxed out on just about everything, and am no longer having fun just treading water.

Sadly, I still have approx. $20 worth of purchased credits (keys).
(Please feel free to respond with a face palm).

Did you make dressing? (Or stuffing as some call it) I love the stuff but it has to be crunchy and not from in the bird. Of course add enough gravy and it's all good. :D
Seriously, you ask me such questions? :hilarious:

Cook!

Pre-stuffed Butterball turkey (cooked from frozen).
Mashed potatoes with skins still on.
Steamed fresh baby carrots, with butter and brown sugar.
Canned corn.
Pillsbury Crescent Rolls.
Semi-homemade gravy - made with the water from boiled giblets/neck, pan drippings, and 5 packets of Clubhouse turkey gravy mix.

Not so impressed anymore, are you? :)

So ... I got tired of waiting for my new 64G iPhone 6 plus to come in, so I sucked it up and bought a 128!

Probably not worth the extra $100, but I am soooooooo impatient.

(Also, my nephew, to whom I am giving my old iPhone 5, was getting equally anxious.)

Love the new phone, but holy smackers, it's big! Doesn't fit in my front purse pocket, nor in my car's cup holder. I can easily buy a new purse. Not so much a new car!

Aren't dressing and stuffing two different things? If you call dressing - stuffing, what do you call the stuff you put on salads?

Just curious. It's like RI saying bubblers. (what most people call water fountains though a water fountain to me is a big fountain in the ground.

Up here, we call it either dressing or stuffing.

My adopted gramma (off the boat from Italy) would mail those cookies for Christmas but her family called them snowballs. Every year we would get a tin full of snowballs, pecan tarts and pizzelles. She passed this spring at the age of 94 but still baked up until then.

She called them snowballs too! And don't get me started on pizzelles. I thought that was a local western pa thing until I ventured to Ohio and had my very first ohio pizzelles...yep, still good there, too! :)

I have an owl like those. :) It's painted and glazed to look like granite. Do you have them as ornaments? Mine is supposed to be for a tealight but I've never used it for that. And I like the teal/purple ornament ball.

Mine are indeed ornaments!

There is a big culture of selling fritures and other quick food snacks outside the churches in my country.
Every Sunday, its filled with vendors. From fresh potatochips, to churros and icecream. :hungry:

I'll be right over. I love home made food venues like that. This is why I'm fat, lol. :)

Oh my...! :hungry:

APPPPPPPPPPPPPPPLE FRITTTERRSSSS!!!!!!! Every time I go to the grocery store I have the hardest time resisting the urge to buy one or one dozen of these. I ...usually lose that battle.

I know all of that actually - but darn it - I miss you guys.

I miss everyone as a whole, but I understand "their" side and "our" side, but most important to me is "my" side. Know what I mean? I like the vast majority of yinz and can tolerate most but have little patience for a select few. It's not always easy to overlook, and rather get feelings hurt, or hurt others, it's sometimes a good thing to step back and ...stay quiet for a while.

I'm from MA and as kids, we always said bubblers for water fountains (must be a New England regional expression). (Hey, @Goofyernmost , was bubblers the term used in Vermont as well?)

Stuffing is what I make with turkey, and dressing is something I always associate with salad dressings, for example. I guess you and I speak the same "language" !

Haha. I too am getting a new cell phone this week. Not an iPhone as those are not offered on my no contract plan and I'm not paying that much to get an unlocked model. I ordered an HTC off Amazon for under $200. Seeing as how my phone completely drained its battery overnight and I've been on the phone with ATT twice this weekend, who said that they've been receiving a lot of error messages from my phone, I'm quite anxious to get that new phone

@donaldtoo , you'll appreciate this one. ;) Today was a retirement party for one of our nurses at work, and you should have seen the hors d'oeuvres in the conference room. We had scallops wrapped in bacon, mini chicken taco squares, baked Brie in puff pastry, steak teryaki on skewers, assorted fruit tray, crackers and cheese, and a big sheet chocolate cake with white frosting. This wonderful food diversion :hungry: :hungry: made a Monday almost tolerable! :joyfull:
