My day, so far...

Cat woke me up earlier than I needed to be up.
I tossed her out and went back to sleep
I overslept after that
The one day that I didn't want to walk down the hill to Subway because my asthma's been bad is the one day that we didn't have anything for me to take for lunch at home
My stupid phone drained its battery, which was full, overnight
My Windows tablet didn't charge, so it's only got half a battery. I didn't realize it until getting to school and don't have its power cord. Thankfully, I can function on my fully charged Android tablet for today.
I had a group presentation today. I get a message at 10 am, two hours before the presentation, with one guy saying why didn't I add his slides to the PowerPoint presentation. No email from him with said slides nor did anyone tell me that he had something to add. I end up having another girl who lives on campus add them.
Same guy posts that he is going to be late for class. This disrupts my plans of going to class and leaving after our presentation to go do a nebulizer treatment for my asthma.
Have I mentioned that my asthma has been much better since my doctor put me on Dulera over the summer? That is up until I got a bad viral infection over the weekend. Felt absolutely aweful yesterday, still under the weather today
Because I was unable to use my nebulizer when I needed it, I'm going to have to leave accounting early. That class is one of the worst ones to miss. At all. But I'm going to need to be able to breath.
Same guy who insisted his slides be added but then said he would be late doesn't show up at all
Girl who had the PowerPoint on her flashdrive has a flashdrive that wouldn't work on the computer. We log onto the Facebook page for our group, and ask the professor to turn off the projector while we do so. Professor says no, it shouldn't be a big deal since the password won't be shown. Well, we get onto the Facebook page, and no-show dude has posted something that says, "Guys, I'm f----ed" which shows to the entire class.

So now I really just want to go home and crawl under the covers and not come out.

Nothing specific - just a general commentary on how things are a-changing. I really miss some of our departed Sageteers.

Yeah, me too. I'm not really sure what all happened that caused everything to get to the point it got to. All I know is that life's too short to get worked up about things that really don't matter in the long run. I think most of us come here to get away from all the stress and drama in our lives and hang around with others who have varying degrees of love (interest?) in all things Disney. Maybe someday they'll trickle back over here...

In the oh-so-unfortunate "us vs them" drama, I really am surprised at how some of the "sides" panned out.

Oh well.
Despite the exodus of some of our fellow Sageteers, I remain very happy with those of us who remained.

I wish I weren't so sad about their departure.
As I don't really know what happened (and it is immaterial at this point), I certainly hope I did not contribute to making anyone feel uncomfortable here.

There were several reasons I left this thread. You make it sound like there were two separate "sides", but there weren't. They were all individual issues, where in some I agreed with some people, and in others I agreed with other people.

Thus, it's not "us vs them" drama. It's just drama in general.

And there was eventually an exodus, but it happened one at a time, as each new person realized they didn't want to be here anymore. Not a "mass exodus" as you imply.

And Jennifer, let me just say that it had nothing to do with you.

Sorry, that was my turn of phrase.
I was over-tired, kind of sad (that I won't see Les for another 5 years), and probably acting over-dramatic when I posted that.

I was away for most of the past week due to a relative staying with me, and a lot of stuff went down that I missed first-hand, but picked up through dribs and drabs and PM's.

Between "us" - those who stayed, and "them" - those who sadly left, it feels like things have gotten a little snarky. That's not what it used to be like.

Unfortunately, now I feel like I've caused some drama, which wasn't my intention.
