Good day October 5th (not for that reason but for others). Anyone ever had Apple Fritters or Munchkins (doughnuts)? My sisters town in CT has an Apple Festival and they have Apple Fitters. Amazing.

Our church sells apple fritters as a fundraiser. Oh so yummy!

When we adopted my (current) dog, we had him microchipped. Vets around the country have the equipment now to scan for these chips, so it's a good idea.

It's like that dog from Virginia that was found in Portland through his chip.

In the oh-so-unfortunate "us vs them" drama, I really am surprised at how some of the "sides" panned out.

Oh well.
Despite the exodus of some of our fellow Sageteers, I remain very happy with those of us who remained.

I wish I weren't so sad about their departure.
As I don't really know what happened (and it is immaterial at this point), I certainly hope I did not contribute to making anyone feel uncomfortable here.

There is a big culture of selling fritures and other quick food snacks outside the churches in my country.
Every Sunday, its filled with vendors. From fresh potatochips, to churros and icecream.

I prefer them with the skins anyway.

A good source of fiber. As I get older I realize I need that.

Can I just say....the temp is 65....it was 43 this morning but I'm starting to feel cold already. Like imagine what I'll be like in the single digits.

Partly cloudy and 86 here, right now. Supposed to get up to 91.
Predicted highs in the low to mid 90's all the way through Friday with a high of 89, and only a chance of showers on Sat...

My day, so far...

Cat woke me up earlier than I needed to be up.
I tossed her out and went back to sleep
I overslept after that
The one day that I didn't want to walk down the hill to Subway because my asthma's been bad is the one day that we didn't have anything for me to take for lunch at home
My stupid phone drained its battery, which was full, overnight
My Windows tablet didn't charge, so it's only got half a battery. I didn't realize it until getting to school and don't have its power cord. Thankfully, I can function on my fully charged Android tablet for today.
I had a group presentation today. I get a message at 10 am, two hours before the presentation, with one guy saying why didn't I add his slides to the PowerPoint presentation. No email from him with said slides nor did anyone tell me that he had something to add. I end up having another girl who lives on campus add them.
Same guy posts that he is going to be late for class. This disrupts my plans of going to class and leaving after our presentation to go do a nebulizer treatment for my asthma.
Have I mentioned that my asthma has been much better since my doctor put me on Dulera over the summer? That is up until I got a bad viral infection over the weekend. Felt absolutely aweful yesterday, still under the weather today
Because I was unable to use my nebulizer when I needed it, I'm going to have to leave accounting early. That class is one of the worst ones to miss. At all. But I'm going to need to be able to breath.
Same guy who insisted his slides be added but then said he would be late doesn't show up at all
Girl who had the PowerPoint on her flashdrive has a flashdrive that wouldn't work on the computer. We log onto the Facebook page for our group, and ask the professor to turn off the projector while we do so. Professor says no, it shouldn't be a big deal since the password won't be shown. Well, we get onto the Facebook page, and no-show dude has posted something that says, "Guys, I'm f----ed" which shows to the entire class.

So now I really just want to go home and crawl under the covers and not come out.
