so Euro Disney received a $1 billion euro ($1.3$) bailout from Disney (which I don't get because it's technically Disney) so add that money to the list of money WDW will never get.

No it isn't but they now have a higher interest in Euro and in Disney's best interest not to let the parks their deteriorate further with their Branding or worse get condemned or shuttered. There is a few good threads that will likely clear up what you don't get, I was reading through them last evening.

I originally had planned adding weight for stability, but even so, I think my pattern is flawed and it's just not working.

But...lemonade from lemons....I'm going to make "pet baskets" using them glued to death on the front of the basket, and full of pet treats. They'll sell well at craft shows come November and December. I'll take a pic of the plushes later...when I feel more alive.

It's 9:30 pm and I'm drinking coffee. Already had a two hour nap... Today took the wind out of my sails!

Sympathy like.

I'm not ready for winter. All eight months of it. :(

Yes please!

Right? Cracks me up! I admit I like to take my (very, very gay) male friend dress shopping with me when I had to go to a dreaded wedding...because I would go for all black (think funeral) and he always brightens it up.

The next wedding I attend will be HIS!!! So excited!

SYMPATHY LIKE. it selected here for a few minutes and I literally had tears in my eyes. I can't. I just can't. This winter is going to kill me.

These are one of my favorite cookies. But they're my favorite, because my cousins Russian grandmother (off the boat 65 years ago, twin babies and not a penny to her name) used to make them for every family function and the memories of them are very warm and dear to my heart. She wasn't my grandmother, but she was much like it, and such a sweet, amazing woman. Who always fed me more than I could eat, apparently that's the Russian way ;)

I never knew her recipe, and every time I make these, they don't taste like hers. I've yet to find "the" recipe she used. I think it died with her, many years ago. :(
My adopted gramma (off the boat from Italy) would mail those cookies for Christmas but her family called them snowballs. Every year we would get a tin full of snowballs, pecan tarts and pizzelles. She passed this spring at the age of 94 but still baked up until then.

The cats are hot :) everyone likes them. I sold most of these baskets but still have a few more.

A few santas <3

Hand painted glass ornaments :)

Anyone wanna buy something? :D

Edit to add, I sold every single garland and have orders for six more! I guess I priced them perfectly :)
I have an owl like those. :) It's painted and glazed to look like granite. Do you have them as ornaments? Mine is supposed to be for a tealight but I've never used it for that. And I like the teal/purple ornament ball.

And with that, I am desperate for an early night. We were up at 5:15 to work a charity garage sale today, and I am exhausted.

Just wanted to say that I've missed you guys this week. I appreciate each and every one of you.

Have a great night everyone, and I'll catch you once I've got my turkey in the oven. Any volunteers to come peel 10 lbs. of potatoes?
I hate peeling potatoes with a passion. Most dishes from my kitchen will still have the skins. If I really need peeled potatoes I buy them frozen.

In the oh-so-unfortunate "us vs them" drama, I really am surprised at how some of the "sides" panned out.

Oh well.
Despite the exodus of some of our fellow Sageteers, I remain very happy with those of us who remained.

I wish I weren't so sad about their departure.
As I don't really know what happened (and it is immaterial at this point), I certainly hope I did not contribute to making anyone feel uncomfortable here.

I don't look at it as sides. I view it as collateral damage. When mind-boggling actions occur like what did at the start of the weekend, one has to expect the collateral damage. What makes me sad is that people actually do stuff like that. If you look at the posts before that deletion of likes we were looking at new pets, amazing crafts and fun conversation and then immediately everything that followed, the collateral damage that carried through the weekend.

It was done, it happened, now time to pull up our panties and move forward not dwell on it.

So how was your families first Thanksgiving yesterday?
