If I can pull this off this will be a Public Service warning......

This was originally from a few months ago however the link to the video has resurfaced again. At times it has a photo of a coaster.

I can't find a copy of the coaster one that also doesn't have a link with it, so I won't post it.
hang on, what kind of accident? hoax? what's going on? your post doesn't explain much.

Well, the Royals have swept the Angels. So now the Orioles have homefield advantage in the ALCS and my dad has two tickets on Friday. Now it's a competition between me and my mom for that extra ticket. Maybe I should remind my dad of this conversation I had with my mom Thursday night.

Me: (talking to Siri) How did the Royals do?
Mom: Royals? We played the Royals tonight.
Me: o_O Mom, we played the Tigers tonight
Mom: Oh. We did?
Me: Mom, you were THERE! How do you not know what team we played?

Note: He's thinking of buying tickets for Saturday as well, so (hopefully) both of us will go. But we're not pulling my brother out of school again, so only one of us may go on Friday even if we all go Saturday (pick me! pick me!)

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
In the oh-so-unfortunate "us vs them" drama, I really am surprised at how some of the "sides" panned out.

Oh well.
Despite the exodus of some of our fellow Sageteers, I remain very happy with those of us who remained.

I wish I weren't so sad about their departure.
As I don't really know what happened (and it is immaterial at this point), I certainly hope I did not contribute to making anyone feel uncomfortable here.

Cats too. My cat would have torn up that outfit before even putting it on her. We can't even get her to wear a collar. We tried. In the first week we got her, she got that collar off. She doesn't go outside, but we've been considering getting her microchipped.

When we adopted my (current) dog, we had him microchipped. Vets around the country have the equipment now to scan for these chips, so it's a good idea. :cat:

Yes they do. :joyfull: Did she have issues with her paws freezing? Most dogs paws and bodies are built to endure winter by design. Normally when you see a pup start to lift a freezing paw is because it has sustained frost bite previously. The dogs that really have the worst climate issues are the cold weather breeds brought to warmer climates. Not a good life for them unless they are kept mostly indoors with A/C going.

My previous dog (she was a lab/shepard mix) was getting older, and we noticed that sometimes her back paw and leg would sort of skid out if she was on any snow or ice. We thought it was frozen, but found out later from the vet that she was starting to get some sort of paralysis in her back legs, and it was worse when it was really cold outside. Poor thing, and I miss her terribly. I love my dog now (we've had him about 5 years;, but when my previous dog passed away after 15 years, it took me close to a year to get over the loss. At that point in time, I was ready to look for another dog. Now, we have crazy Jack!

Sounds like I missed something here. I never know what I'll wake up to when I log in each morning. Certainly, any exodus of any friends will be missed, as so many fun people have contributed to these threads. So many people have a lot to share, and perhaps some may reconsider after a period of time. As for current members, I look forward to reading what everyone posts daily and will continue to do so. And JenniferS, I think you've always created a welcoming atmosphere to all, so if something happened (as you alluded to in your message), I sincerely doubt it had anything to do with you.

What I did notice this morning, however, was that Peter's thread was gone. Perhaps that was for the best, at this time, as it seemed to create anxiety for a number of readers. Whatever he's doing or wherever he is, I wish him peace.

Well I just watched off Kilters replacement, the Canadian Lumberjack Show-

Eh. Some people will like it; I think children, especially, will enjoy the show. What i can't figure out is why they couldn't have had two shows at the Canada pavilion. One day, have Off Kilter, and the other day have the lumberjacks. That would kill two birds with one stone and create variety, if that's what Disney wanted to do by getting rid of Off Kilter. They'd then end up with even more fans at Canada, because different people enjoy different forms of entertainment.

Nothing specific - just a general commentary on how things are a-changing. I really miss some of our departed Sageteers.

Agree 100% re- Peter.

As do I. I had said it would merciful if that thread disappeared. I wish him well no matter what he is doing.
