This is when my boredom becomes ridiculously annoyimg. So I will shut up now. If I post something else tonight, keep in mind that I was sleeping and typing when I posted it probably and most likely will not remember it tomorrow. Spock out.

My goodness, with all the talk of these new-fangled phones--the size, the bendable aspect, the issues, the COST, etc., why don't you get what I have? It's a little phone, and it flips open. It doesn't do that scroll thing, there are no pictures, and it doesn't text. All you have to do is type in the phone number, and it rings at the other person's phone. They pick up their ringing phone and say, "Hello." And, you say, "Hello." :)

Been there, done that. NEVER goin' back. ;)
I like havin' a computer in my pocket...! :)

hopefully means he wont sing!

both updates were pretty much ruining the phones (the 8.0.1 and 8.0.0).
with 8.0.1 actually preventing the phone from getting cell service. :|
I have no doubt they will all be fine in short order. My DS girlfriend got hers Saturday. No issues so far. Apple said they will stand by the phones so no biggy.

I'm thinking about renewing my interest in monorails and starting a new thread called "The Epic Monorail Thread Because Monorails are Cool and Buses Not So Cool". What do you think? I'm having monorail discussion withdrawals and I'm sure there are people who miss me ranting about them (including my enemies)....

I probably wrote these while I was sleeping (or drinking but I don't drink often). I'm finding more and more of these. I know I don't have memory problems... Is it possible for people to sleep typing, like sleep walking but typing instead of walking.

EDIT - I'm just concerned of the content of what I might be saying would be things I would regret saying, or reframe from saying consciously.
Then don't sleep near your phone.

You got something against Pepsi, young lady?!?!?!? If at anytime I feel the urge to drink sewer water I always get a Coke.

Back in the day, I used to attend, as a vender, many grocery conventions. That was during the era of the concealed Pepsi vs. Coke extravaganza. If you're not familiar, they would pour out two small cups. One would contain Pepsi and the other would contain Coke. Almost every single one of the proclaimed Coke only drinkers took the challenge and lost. Not only could they not tell which one was Coke, but, when asked which they preferred, they choose Pepsi.

Surprisingly, just about none of the tricked Coke lovers switched over to Pepsi even after they said that they liked the taste better. Apparently there is some thing in the formula for Coke that causes people to be mule headed to the point of silliness.
actually, that was kinda debunked because the campaign was exaggerated. The real percentages were like 52% vs 48% (aka 52% who were wrong vs 48% who were right when finding coke)

In other news, I'm very ed.

Few years ago, I had purchased retail dvds of some obscure cartoon. They were official pressed dvds from amazon.com

Now I found that my dvds drives on my pc just cant read them!
they struggle a lot to even open the file browser to read the thing.
I then noticed the silverish DVD substance-layer as weird defects too.
one has fingerprints INSIDE the metal layer and not in the plastic layer that can be cleaned. Others have similar damage (inside the reflective metal layer).

So pretty sure they were shoddily made.
I'm trying to backup them before I lost them forever (there is a bacteria that eats the silver substance)
But right now, its been 15 hours and only at 85% in the ripping process..
slooooooooooooow

Possibly, but, I watched, personally, the testing for an entire weekend and it was closer to 60% vs 40% during that time. Still, if it was a die hard Coke fan and 52% of them couldn't tell the difference, what does that say? I think that even that rate, if anything is played down, but, still a victory for Pepsi. Also those results were the reason for the introduction of "New Coke" but this time the folks knew that they had changed it and like magic, no one liked it. Who could have guessed that would happen. Coke thought that the people had spoken when they chose Pepsi over Coke in the taste test, but it was really just brand loyalty more then taste that keeps people buying it. Also read up on the Cola Wars and see all the nasty things that Coke did to Mom and Pop stores if they decided to stock Pepsi as well. It isn't pretty.

I grew up on Coke (the liquid), but, when given the opportunity to chose, it was always Pepsi for me. For one thing the bottles with the red, white and blue strips with the spiral glass design was super cool. In high school, I cannot tell you how often my lunch consisted of a bottle of Pepsi and an Ice Cream Sandwich. In spite of that I still have all my original teeth and no cavities after all these years.
