He also wore it for a while during the reception, going from table to table, scaring the wits out of people.
My dad was awesome like that.
I'd be fine with Australia.Okay, back from the Frozen thread.
A couple of thoughts that I have no intention of sharing over there:
- I am less upset over this than the Poly desecration.
- Disney sits on a hot property forever, they get lambasted.
- Disney jumps all over a hot property, they get crucified.
- Maelstrom needed help. Way more than a general clean up. It certainly wasn't going to happen any time soon without a pressing reason.
- And darn it all, Epcot needs more rides - not "attractions", actual rides.
- Maybe it will turn out to be fun. They might do a superb job. Only time will tell.
- Now, while they're at it, add some rides to existing countries - uh hmmm ... river ride in Germany. Heck, the building is already there, is it not? Bullet train in Japan.
- Add a couple more countries while they're at it. The space exists. Top of my wish list - Greece, Australia, Polynesia, and "Africa" (not a specific country, but a nod to the culture). Heck, they've modelled entire resorts to the last two, but no "country" in World Showcase. And yes, I know Morocco is located in Africa, but like Egypt, it seems more mid-eastern in its culture, religion, and language.
Flame away, I don't care. At least you guys are my friends, and not likely to be insulting.

My dad's reaction: "Well, it can't be any worse than Test Track". He's probably right
Agree with you on the additional countries. Although Africa exists in AK. I'd like Spain.
They could just call it "Tron: The Ride." Or they could turn all the lights off and have Space Mountain: Part 2.OK, so a little more...
Case in point.
There is nothing, IMO, educational or entertaining about the TT "refurb".

63 and rainy here today...
This is the first year in awhile we haven't gone to MNSSHP. (due to the cruise) I usually take my daughter for her BD which is 9/28, but we but always would do the major celebrating at WDW. I've been trying to work in some Halloween stuff to celebrate in my area. Boo At The Zoo and seeing The Box Trolls top of the list. That is such a cute picture!
I wish they would just go fully embrace that TT is a Tron ride and add Jeff Bridges to it. The Dude would really tie the attraction together.OK, so a little more...

The same thing happened to Main Street USA. I can't believe the wonderful individual shops that have disappeared, simply to be replaced by one ginormous shop extending the whole block.
I never realized it either! I guess they should have made it more obvious - it was kinda tucked away in the corner! I would walk out of that last big store on that side of Main Street and then pretty much cut across the circle going straight towards the exit...
I got rid of my piano a few years ago. I used it as a release more than for enjoyment. If I was stressed I'd pick a song that required pounding the keys. That is the only time I miss it.
Did you leave Texas for the day?WOOOHHHOOOOOOO!!!!!
