Cool and rainy here. Pretty sucky summer, truth be told.

Sorry, no fun.
This summer for us has actually been way cooler, overall, than last. Last summer we had umpteen days in a row over 100 with many days at 104-106ish, with the hottest day bein' at (static air temp.) 108. This year, not so much.

Pardon the several posts in a row, my iPad and this website are not seeing eye to eye tonight.

I went to. Phipps c, and did a quick breeze through...mainly to see the butterflies.

And they were out in full force. I got some great shots.

One hour after calling, a cab finally arrived...

My DS does quite a few cabs on weekends. He has said he never seems to have problems going it is coming back they don't always respond in a timely fashion.

Pretty. Our butterflies are here big time now. I have Lantana plants and a good deal of yellow and purple plants, butterflies seem to love my property. Then again you can't go more than a few feet here without finding a different garden and a large chunk of my fence is 100% covered in Morning Glories of all colors.

Could be why I am having issues with Bees, Wasps and Hornets.

Depending upon the time of day...sometimes a cab here can take two hours.

Hope a lady never needs a cab to take her to the hospital to have a baby, might need an ambulance. Wonder how long those take?

She has to plan for the cab at 180 days out.

Ambulances are really fast around here, especially since I'm about a mile from two different ambulance dispatch centers.

My grandfather on my moms side had 3 tractors: either 2 John Deere's and a Ford, or, 2 Ford's and a John Deere...I can't quite remember.
My grandfather on my pops side had a Farmall that pretty much looked exactly like this one, but, not nearly as clean.

As of late, my folks have actually been entertaining the prospect of gettin' themselves an iPhone...!!!

Funny, my Dad actually could handle an iPhone, he does so well on his iPad, he tends to act helpless and delegates to my Mom. My Mom, she gets herself flustered when we just start to explain anything that I think all she hears is blah blah blah.

I am useless on my phone trying to navigate this site. I end up with a dozen or more quoted posts.

I have issues posting here with my iPhone too. If I'm not quick enough it times out and it sends me back to the home page. It isn't hard to pick out my posts from my iPhone.

I like mine practically on fire. No chance of reincarnation.

But really, I don't eat steak often...usually not even once a year. Again, it's gotta be so done that it's begging for me to put it out of its misery. And then it gets drowned in a1.

I could eat steak every day. In fact when my Mom was in the hospital when I was a kid for 4 months we ate steak everyday with Jays Potato chips he could light a BBQ. Breakfast was a variety. Eggs sunnyside up or CoCo Wheats. Lunch was Spaghetti-Os and hotdogs.

I don't like to see any signs that it once lived. My DD wants it Dead or Deader than Dead.
