No problem. It's my mom's trick for when our shoes have gotten soaked in WDW thanks to a FL t-storm. Heat vent is also her trickOoooh. Hairdryer would work.
Thank you!!

If you stuff them with newspaper, they should dry by the next day.Pittsburgh has been having some nasty rains... I got caught in one yesterday on my way home from work... I squished my way into the house and stripped immediately. Everything was wet. Shoes are still damp. Streets were a mess, traffic was a snarl, and lots of trees have slid down hillsides. This has been a TERRIBLE year for tree loss around my city... and it makes me very sad.
Does anyone know of a good way of drying shoes without putting them in the dryer?

Yeah and I guess it would have been wet anyway if it was delivered to your house!I'm embarrassed to admit this but I don't have any newspaper... I don't read it, and no one on my street does either!
I was expecting to need a boat this morning when I woke it was so loud last night. My yard was one big puddle this morning, but it was nothing like your street. I didn't check the roads closer to the bay though, I could see them getting your level of flooding last night. Hope your cars are alright.@acishere did the monsoon get you too?
I heard theres also heavy flooding in NY and flash floods in Phoenix. So this was the scene outside my house this morning (most of my neighbors with short driveways pulled their cars onto the grass to get them out of the street.)

you use either a fan or an hairdryer firing inside the shoes. *edit* nevermind, someone already said it first lol.Pittsburgh has been having some nasty rains... I just woke up.... There's floods up north and southwest?I heard theres also heavy flooding in NY and flash floods in Phoenix.
It seems so.. storm chaser reedtimer was warning about severe flooding mainly in NY (he tweeted about it very early in the morning)I just woke up.... There's floods up north and southwest?
Poor NY! What parts? It seems so.. storm chaser reedtimer was warning about severe flooding mainly in NY (he tweeted about it very early in the morning)
congrats for your sis.Poor NY! What parts?
By the way, I just learned my sister Rachel is going to have a baby. That makes me an uncle!
Observations:
Contemporary as a whole is in WAY better shape than BC. The soda machines actually have ice and, ya know, work. In the arcade, a bunch of the machines were disabled or just completely off. Only one skeeball machine was up, and it only had one ball. Prizes are also better at Contemporary
Music before Illuminations has mostly been redone. I think a few pieces are the same, but the majority is different.
I already said this on the RIP thread, but the crystal Castle in the glass case at the crystal shop in Germany has been replaced by a Genie. It seems like there is a greater presence of the character in that shop, even lamp earrings.
I saw that. Posted it in the RIP thread.I liked this one of the tributes I saw.
Disney animator Eric Goldberg remembers Robin Williams with an illustration:

They should bring back Time Keeper like they brought back Captain Eo for M.J.!I saw that. Posted it in the RIP thread.
I think some RW tribute is warranted. They should bring back Time Keeper like they brought back Captain Eo for MK!
Yes! Also, I liked Time Keeper! I had a fit at WDW a couple of months ago when I learned it was closed to make room for Laugh Floor. The CM's I spoke with never even heard of Time Keeper. Wow, I felt OLD!I think some RW tribute is warranted.
