Huh. I've never noticed those at Lowes. I'll have to pay attention, what department?
It's an exclusive, on the down low dept. Secret handshake, password, etc. Kinda' like how Club 33 used to be at D L.

I pick Lowe's.Truth be known, Michael's and Hobby Lobby are a close second to places like Lowe's and such, for me. Great selections of colored pencils, markers, and paper media.![]()
Oh, YUM!
Caramel popcorn for me, if your hands aren't too full. One for me too, but I will beg more, a pretzel and a glass of Liebfraumilch. Then a Dark Chocolate Salted Caramel please. Dang I lvoe those Caramels, they go so well with the Liebfraumilch too. Slurp.
I pick Lowe's.
Even before my tiff with Home Depot.
I was doing a beer run last night and everything was Oktoberfest or pumpkin in the specialty section. I'm not ready for the fall stuff yet, I'm still wearing flip flops when I'm not working!
Our Costco has Hallowe'en stuff out already.
I expect to post in-store Christmas stuff pics within a week or two.
Walt is supposed to bark at the evil buggies to scare them off, to protect you. Tell him I said he's shirking his duty; he needs to get his bark on. No protection, no dog biscuits!![]()
Hmm...yup...I joined right in.
Not
When the hedge fund I worked for was taken over by a bank, we were required to follow all of the procedures for new bank hires - fingerprinting, drug testing, etc. I don't use drugs but I was still nervous as all heck. I must have drank 5 bottles of water before heading over for the test. I swear I am still to this day not sure how the practically pure water pee I provided was not red flagged.
And you will be excited - after the formalities.![]()
Yup. I love my family, but vacation can be too much togetherness. Also, I know I won't get the opportunity unless I go by myself.Sounds like a great day. Wandering by yourself for a while is always fun. I went to DTD just to look at the construction progress for a few hours while my DD was enjoying the sun at the pool. I can only do about an hour of the pool these days.
I'm in WDW and feeling down. I think it is so much worse since he comitted suicide. So shocking and unexpected. I have never cried over a celebrity. I couldn't when I found out about him even though I really wanted to. This morning I did while reading some of the reactions to his passing. Just trying not to read about it too much, at least while in public. When I get back to the room, yes, but even so it feels like there's a cloud over everything.
Suicide makes it so much worse. I think when others pass, older actors, it will be sad but easier. This was just so unexpected. So terrible that someone who brought so much joy to others could not find joy within himself to keep going.
err, the last part of the comment was about PURCHASING a condo (to grow the garden plants .etc..etc..)
Just seems like there's a cloud hanging around here. Reminds me of when I was in DL when Michael Jackson passed and everyone was sad (even though I didn't know much about him). Hoping a few thrills tomorrow will help. Still VERY sad though. Watching a lot of tribute videos and videos of his work.It is best you are where you are. I was with my DD in the car today and it was nearly 24 hours of talking about it already and I hit my saturation point. They were dragging in specialists on depression, drug and alcohol guest spots, comedians that were mere acquaintances. Now being a tad overdone and I'm now hearing marketing of upcoming guests to discuss it some more. I turned off the radio and put on my Parks CD.
I feel for the family, so much to deal with. Sad.
No more Sam's up here. They pulled up roots a couple of years ago, with one month notice.Last week Sam's was still in Summer mode. Who knows this week.
I feel sorry for you.
My father was an administrator of a condo building (kinda big, around 150 or so individual condos in 3 towers)
and it was.. a literal nuthouse.
There were fights over anything, complains over anything..
My dad even got a death threat because he forced a condo owner to pay the 1+ years he owed of maintenance fees!
It was ridiculous!.
And Agree that some people just want to feel heard or in the spot of attention by complaining or causing trouble.
