in other news.. The rainy season finally started.. we got some rain yesterday and its been 3 days in a row with clouds.
Downtown had a downpour, but not much in my area.

In other news.. Amanda (the hurricane) is going right at us according to the NOAA hurricane center site.
but hopefully will degrade to tropical depression then.

It's raining so hard right now my street is becoming a puddle and there's a river running down into it!

I had them earlier this evening and almost took pictures because after the storms we had that eerie yellow light that makes everything look so very green.

That means we'll be getting it tomorrow - oh yay! And predicted high temperature tomorrow of 56 degrees!

Thanks @MOXOMUMD and @Nemo14 !! Yes, I felt it was appropriate in more ways than one. You see, we took a scan of my park admission ticket from last week. Since I despise the magic bands, I'm making my own little statement here; I'm promoting the plastic ticket media instead!

I have Minnie on my AP! I was so excited when I got a notification from you and saw you had that as your Avatar. I like the MBs for the resorts I have to say. I liked not having to get in my wallet all the time, especially in the rain. We will be using them for at the pool and the waterparks as admission since it's just plain easier. However, I refuse to get a MB as my AP. It's a waste since we always stay on property and get MBs anyway, but even so, I want my AP securely in my wallet. My thought is that if something dumb happens like I lose my MB on Space Mountain (almost happened), all I have to do is go to the front desk and they'll issue my either a card or a new MB (I'm taking my two old MBs as backup just in case). If I lose my AP MB, that might be a huge hassle. Just easier to get the card and not worry about it.

I went with some friends to a high school track meet for Regionals. Just after the national anthem (which is for some reason held in the middle of the entire event), they called a weather delay. We went and sat in the car for 45ish minutes, and it was finally cancelled and rescheduled for tomorrow. Paid two whole dollars for a ticket! I was supposed to pay three, but the guy asked if I was a student, and I said no. Then he said, "well are you in college?" I said yes, and he gave me the student discount, even though it's meant for high schoolers.

Division III University of Wisconsin - Whitewater became the first team in NCAA history to win the national championship in football, basketball, and baseball! That's pretty insane.
