Blame Brett Ratner. Despite all his current issues Bryan Singer is a much more competent director who has some creative vision. Brett is who you hire if you just want your movie to be mostly people getting punched and some explosions with as little plot in between as possible.

I liked the first amazing a lot, completely hated the second..

What I liked specially of Amazing is: they got the Spidey's banther and trash talk well.

Spiderman 3 was a disaster that reminded me of BATMAN AND ROBIN with George clooney and Arnie.

And bat nipples. BAT NIPPLES!

Oh most definitely. 1 was good, 2 was better, 3 was bad. MJ is so annoying. Sometimes during the battles I'm like, "Stop standing there screaming and try to help." I like Gwen Stacey better for that reason. I will take the brainy science student who plays a part in the villain's ultimate defeat WAY before the girl who keeps getting kidnapped and then screams about it. I'm hoping that the next MJ will be better.

I have no idea why so many directors and writers makes either a) women completely useless b) they do the nerd fantasy of strong woman(including tight clothings and weird kung fu poses that show their butts better)

1 - was good.
2 - broke my heart. I just felt so bad for Doc Ock. Probably one of the most sympathetic villains of all time.
3 - too many villains, period.

Agree with Dock, not to mention Alfred Molina's acting was superb.

The flaw of 3 was that they didn't take Venom seriously. Just like X-Men screwed up the Dark Pheonix story...

Everytime I think of Meatloaf, I think of when he was on Ghost Hunters. He was so cordial to the spirits and with what happened to him. Is he part Canadian?

Well, it seems he respects the spirits, but he clearly hates Busey.

He is already destroying the new TMNT movie.. even if he "stepped down".. he put a "Michael bay Jr" as director, doing the same he(Bay) does.
Transformers with Turtles is what the new TMNT movie looks like.
The Shrek+Whoopy Goldberg Michelangelo will forever be in my nightmares.

in other news.. The rainy season finally started.. we got some rain yesterday and its been 3 days in a row with clouds.
Downtown had a downpour, but not much in my area.

In other news.. Amanda (the hurricane) is going right at us according to the NOAA hurricane center site.
but hopefully will degrade to tropical depression then.
