I had to Google this, as I had idea what it was....help me out here...
Ajillo -means chopped garlic
spicy Garlic Cazuela - means garlic casserole

So wouldn't that dish mean Garlic in Garlic casserole?

I know something is lost in translation somewhere

you are correct, the ajillo means either chopped very finely (or smashed) while fried in olive oil.
Spicy Garlic Cazuela = seafood with added garlic fried chunks with a variety of soft dried chiles (like chile ancho, chile de arbol)

usually ajillo = only garlic..
but this dish had a very specific name for the combination of garlic + chiles + oils.. but I honestly do not have the translation atm.

That was very nice of you to take your mother to a seaside restaurant. I'm sure she was happy you invited her, and thinks you are a good and caring son.

I invited my grandmah and my aunt as well, so yeah.. very happy :>

Can't buy alcohol from a grocery store here either. It has to be a liquor store with a license to sell alcohol. You also can't ship alcohol into the state, but if you're driving in, you can bring it.

Believe it or not, Maryland actually changed the alcohol shipping laws just a little over a year ago. You can now ship alcohol into and out of Maryland. We quickly took advantage by signing up for some Wine and Beer clubs and are quite delighted with the results!

There are still a few states that have laws against driving alcohol across state lines. Not sure which any more, but only about 10 years ago it was still illegal to bring alcohol into Florida by car. Fairly certain it is OK now (or we just might have broken the law on the last drive to the World).

Yup you aren't supposed to pump your own gas. Attendant does it for you while you sit in your car. First world problems... am I right?

OK, not at all tryin' to sound stupid (tough for me, I know ), but we have A/C available in our home all year long, so, I'm not familiar with A/C setup. Please explain, my friend...

Many of us up here do not have central air, especially in older homes, so every spring we have to put the AC units in our windows, then take them out in the fall.

Probably window air conditioners. They don't stay in year round in cold weather areas.

We have one in our bedroom and one in the living room. When the kids were living at home we had one in each of their windows too. We have one for the room my mom will sleep in, but she won't put it on at night.
