Yup you aren't supposed to pump your own gas. Attendant does it for you while you sit in your car. First world problems... am I right?

Can't buy alcohol from a grocery store here either. It has to be a liquor store with a license to sell alcohol. You also can't ship alcohol into the state, but if you're driving in, you can bring it.

And some people think the southern states have a monopoly on antiquated laws!

When we go to Buffalo, it's such a strange thing for us - being able to buy beer and spirits from the grocery store. Gas stations too.

Here is Ontario, we have gov't controlled distribution and gov't controlled pricing.
It is a law, I kid you not, that a bottle of beer cannot retail for less than a "buck a beer".

They're not extinct here in Mass. Some gas stations have both self-serve and full-serve (attendant). We like variety.

I had to Google this, as I had idea what it was....help me out here...
Ajillo -means chopped garlic
spicy Garlic Cazuela - means garlic casserole

So wouldn't that dish mean Garlic in Garlic casserole?

I know something is lost in translation somewhere
