I don't know what I'd do without football. It's pretty much my life in the fall and winter.

That's all I'm going to say. I'm not going to debate with you because I'm never going to agree with you. You are correct in that the bully was jealous of me. But just because you learned not to care does not mean your daughter is going to be that way.

Also, going to my parents? Hardest thing a kid can do is ask for help.

I will watch the movie, not tonight though (and thank you for the reference)...my opinion will likely stay the same...but, I do appreciate the suggestion. I don't like the term "current view" as I don't think it's "current" at all, it's everlasting.

I doubt I will see anything anything I haven't experienced myself. Shoved in a locker and locked up inside? Been there done that. Pants pulled down by some snarky guy in the middle of gym class, more than once? Been there, done that. Wedgies in the locker room (and other pranks)? Been there, done that. Locker broken into and stuff stolen? Been there done that. Hat or other clothing stolen and played "keep away" with? Been there, done that. Beat down? Been there, done that. The list goes on...

All you can do is move on, I learned. In the long run, it's really not that important.

And, with respect to bullies, I've found that adults (which I am now) are far more conniving and cruel than anything I've ever experienced in K-12...they bully you in far different and more meaningful (legally) ways.

Hence, why I said it's a life lesson. I don't cry for kids who are bullied, I look at them and think...toughen up. You are surrounded by idiots...

I hate college football. I am a Ravens fan. I never went to a high school game. I don't plan on getting to a college game.

I'm not really into any other sports that much. My teams are all awful. Basketball: Bucks, Baseball; Brewers. I tune into golf occasionally, and during the Olympics I love beach volleyball. That's about it with sports for me. Oh, and I'm an amazing badminton player!

Tennessee and Arkansas are the only SEC schools I like. The only thing I have against the vols is the orange, because Texas and OSU wear orange too .

My high school team won won game last year. The year before they won 2. I was not missing anything. Sad thing, Junior Varsity my senior year was good, so of course now that I've left, they'll get good.

Maybe if my college football team is good I'll go. I'm just really not that into football outside of the Ravens. Baseball is my thing.

And I didn't watch the Superbowl because I went to Magic Kingdom

It's a regional thing...there's a reason that major league sports (outside of the Braves, which I hate) don't catch on well in the south...
