My SIL needed a car pronto (after her daughter totalled her PT Cruiser) and the Nissan dealership was closed. So instead of buying the Versa, which she had test-driven before she bought the PT Cruiser, she ended up buying a brand new Fit.

She loves it.

At 4' 10", she still has to sit on a cushion, but all those windows give her maximum visibility; something rarely achieved in other cars.
You had to mention a PT Cruiser right as I was reading this:
http://www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/comments/22k59y/pt_cruiser_owners_what_tragedy_burdened_you_with/

If your SIL's daughter didn't total it, it would have just fallen apart one day anyway. My dad owned 2 and the reliability on both just bottomed out and it became a hassle to own. Yet he loved those ugly things and got a second one after the 1st fell apart on him.

I'm sick too; hence the Benadryl, Advil and Otrivin.

I'm watching Craig Ferguson. Love that guy!
We could start the sick club! I've known this has been coming for several days; I'm just hoping it doesn't cause asthma symptoms. Monday I had to leave my accounting class to go give myself a breathing treatment because I was wheezing so badly. Hoping that doesn't happen tomorrow.

I love the color of that car.
I also love the CHROME look (redish gold). I will probably purchase the car in either of these colors.

We have the Spark in the US. One at the end of my block actually, same color as that picture.

My gf almost got the Honda Fit which is the same class as the Spark and March. I think it is called the Jazz in some markets. Much roomier than either of the Chevy tiny hatches.
Oh gods, I hate the tiny Chevys (the waterdrop shaped one).

Ugh, another DAS thread. And someone with Asperger's on there telling me how horrible a system it is and why I'm wrong and don't know what I'm talking about. Ugh!
At this point I wonder if these DAS threads are created by the same group of trolls or what.. o_o

I heard many good things about the PT cruiser.
but honestly I hate how it looks :p

Also excuse me to say this.. but your SIL sounds very short o_O

I don't know; I'm trying to be understanding with this person, but I got trashed (and then I got an apology surprisingly).

Actually, I bite off my hangnails and yank them off when I get nervous.
perhaps the person is still furious? some people go blind cruise control when ed off.

I just had to explain to my Mom that XP is no longer receiving support from Microsoft so she might have to update her decade old desktop soon. No word on whether the printer from 1999 can also get replaced.

Unfortunately it also means soon I will have to explain Windows 8...

Only recently, the entire hospital system was upgraded to Windows 7 (not 8 yet), from XP. Can I tell you that so many people hated it, and we nearly had a meltdown trying to adjust to it. (I don't think 7 was ever created with office workers in mind; my guess is that it was created for all kinds of other programs, etc.) The only reason they upgraded was because of what you mentioned above—that the support was not going to be available for XP in the near future. :(

Ok, 3 was much, much better than 2.

And I absolutely positively need a hippogryph (assuming spelled correctly as autocorrect didn't correct it) in my life. Like, now. He shall be parked right outside my office and I simply dare someone to give him a parking ticket. We will circle the city and laugh at folks still stuck in their offices working. We will dance over the waters and soar through the...hillside streets. Yep, must have one. Preferably in pink.

Me and Daisy had a great time at the park, playing in the grass and enjoying being outside. Daisy is tuckered out now, she's asleep at my feet on the floor and I'm...well, not far behind.

Good night y'all, sweet dreams.

I've never seen or read any HP and this post made me think you lost your marbles. Especially since I momentarily forgot Daisy was your dog.

Someone who CLAIMS to have Asbergers. It's the Internet. ;) Best not to feed the trolls either way.

I've stayed in values for the last several trips. The only thing I really want is a bigger bed. So I'm trying to decide how much a queen bed is worth next time I go. Wouldn't have this problem if Disney would just let me reserve a king bed.

I've only been to wdw once (don't hate me!) and it was a celebration of surviving my grandmothers death, packing up her entire house, and dealing with the raising family drama that my Mom and I decided to aim for the "once in a lifetime" trip. We stayed at the Polynesian. It was beautiful, I love that resort. What they're doing to it makes me so, so sad. I spent my days at the parks, my evenings either in the pool. Or the parks, and my nights by the pool, nomming dole whips. Literally every night I was at the quiet pool, eating dole whips at like 2 am. I barely slept the entire trip...a few hours at night and then a midday nap but I was usually so excited to be back at the resort that my midday nap was more of a sit upright and snore session.

The huge bed Mom and I shared and not once did I eve notice she was on the other side. The king size makes a big difference. The mattress was perfect for me, too.

I'm hoping my next trip will be at a moderate. I don't think I'll ever be able to afford the Poly again. I'd like to try wilderness lodge and or port Orleans.

But 2015 is all about Disneyland. I miss my home. Disneyland is my home.

Nineteen students and one adult who was the school's security guard. It's scary crap. Last year when class was letting out a woman came into my daughter's elementary school and slapped around a teacher. (Came to find out this teacher was having an affair with this women's husband) but within the next week ALL schools had the buzz-in systems and cameras installed.

I'll trade spots with you. Needles don't bother me at all.

I am a regular blood donor (70+ donations).

I used to donate blood all the time - even though it made me squeamish - and then the last 2 times I passed out. And I passed out once a few years ago too. After the pass-outs I felt awful for about 24 hours. I finally realized although I WANT to donate blood, my body doesn't want to part with it.
