POP - always POP.

We spend so little time in the room that I just can't justify the expense of a Deluxe. I look at the difference in price and think of what else I could do with that money - support my brother(s), send money to my aunt's mission in Africa, donate it ....

Poly is my dream resort. I'll probably never manage to stay there for more than two or three nights though, and then hop on over to POP. Always POP.

The Poly is such a Mess right now. My jaw dropped when I saw it. Knew it but worse in person. The bungalows went up in a day. It will change the look for better or worse forever. But it isn't just the waterside it is the parking lot side/monorail side. Oy the noise.

2nd boat dock is up close to the Poly for the TTC Ferries. At least that mess is out of the Poly waterway now.

Perhaps it's the change of seasons that confuses our brains; apparently, I am also afflicted with this seasonal disorder. Sunday evening, I put a buffalo meatloaf into the oven. Came back an hour later to peek inside the oven, and couldn't figure out why the meatloaf didn't look browned and "done" looking. I was afraid the oven was broken, until I looked at the display and saw that I never turned on the oven!!

Until spring officially starts acting like spring and my brain starts to adjust, maybe I should just order take-out instead, for another few weeks!

There as been report that the desync of the nature cycles with the animal natural cycles is taking its toll..
for example, bunnies still having their winter coat when already is summer and viceversa.
some insects suffering of this as well.. so no surprise there is the same problem for humans.. health wise of course.

To humanly put down (aka murdering the turkey lol), you always gently remove the glasses!

Must be because there is an identical car type under the SPARK chevrolet brand.

After going to Hawaii the first time, I walked back into Poly and thought "Wow, this is like Honolulu International airport..." It's very dated and needs a serious update. I'm waiting to see what the end result will be before passing judgement. The prices they charge for a construction zone, however, are ridiculous.

Ok, 3 was much, much better than 2.

And I absolutely positively need a hippogryph (assuming spelled correctly as autocorrect didn't correct it) in my life. Like, now. He shall be parked right outside my office and I simply dare someone to give him a parking ticket. We will circle the city and laugh at folks still stuck in their offices working. We will dance over the waters and soar through the...hillside streets. Yep, must have one. Preferably in pink.

Me and Daisy had a great time at the park, playing in the grass and enjoying being outside. Daisy is tuckered out now, she's asleep at my feet on the floor and I'm...well, not far behind.

I just had to explain to my Mom that XP is no longer receiving support from Microsoft so she might have to update her decade old desktop soon. No word on whether the printer from 1999 can also get replaced.

Unfortunately it also means soon I will have to explain Windows 8...

You can force a windows 7 feeling to Windows 8 by using tools like CLASSIC START MENU (Classic Shell)
which eliminate most windows 8 stupidity with windows 7 efficient stuff.

The price now is a bit more than a rack rate for a Moderate. Not worth it, so nasty at the moment.

Hubby and I were 9 days away from checking into POR, when my mom passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in November, 2010.

I joined this forum 3 days after her funeral/1 day before we were to have started our no-kids getaway.

Since then, I have travelled twice with SIL and another brother's kid (niece in 2012, nephew in 2013), and seeing as how I paid for the niece/nephew, I decided to be frugal.

Still trying to talk Hubby into DL for this year; so maybe 2015.

My SIL needed a car pronto (after her daughter totalled her PT Cruiser) and the Nissan dealership was closed. So instead of buying the Versa, which she had test-driven before she bought the PT Cruiser, she ended up buying a brand new Fit.

She loves it.

At 4' 10", she still has to sit on a cushion, but all those windows give her maximum visibility; something rarely achieved in other cars.

I don't know; I'm trying to be understanding with this person, but I got trashed (and then I got an apology surprisingly).

Actually, I bite off my hangnails and yank them off when I get nervous.

I read the thread - not much of an apology. I thought she was blowing you off.

As to the hangnail thing - I used to yank them compulsively. I bled constantly, got frequent infections, and had to go on antibiotics twice! I used to keep Polysporin and bandaids in my purse at all times. It would have been simpler just to travel with clippers. But ... noooooo!

I finally stopped pulling them about ten years ago. Now I have bio gel nails and get them done every three weeks. No more hangnails.

Yeah, I'm posting one more thing, and then I'm done. Better things to do than argue with a Sheldon.

I chew the sides of my nails, so I create hangnails and then I bite them or rip them off (usually bite). Usually I don't make myself bleed, and if I do, I put bandaids on. I don't do it as much if I have polish on, so I wear polish a lot.
