Hey @brifraz, I was just in an old thread (checking on dates, actually), and I noticed that we both posted reviews of the Fantasyland Expansion on the first page of that thread.
I was in the World Nov. 9-18/2012 (and then again this fall). Did our 2012 trips overlap perhaps?

We were there Nov 21-24. That was a great trip. Trip report is here (but pictures were in the old format, so it is just a text report). http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/live-from-thanksgiving-at-dw.856131/

I was there 11.10.2012-11.17.2012 - time to check my photos for a Canadian in the background!!

Ok, 3 was much, much better than 2.

And I absolutely positively need a hippogryph (assuming spelled correctly as autocorrect didn't correct it) in my life. Like, now. He shall be parked right outside my office and I simply dare someone to give him a parking ticket. We will circle the city and laugh at folks still stuck in their offices working. We will dance over the waters and soar through the...hillside streets. Yep, must have one. Preferably in pink.

Me and Daisy had a great time at the park, playing in the grass and enjoying being outside. Daisy is tuckered out now, she's asleep at my feet on the floor and I'm...well, not far behind.

Good night y'all, sweet dreams.

IMO, book 6 was the best bit of Potter that there was. I liked Movie 3 and Movie 7.2, but I think book 6 was Rowling's best writing - although movie 6 is vastly inferior to the book.

@JenniferS the photo I PMed you the other day was from our overlapping trips! Weird. Where did you stay? We were at WL.
Some behind-the-scenes Sageteering going on, eh? (That "eh" was so @JenniferS can understand, as she only speaks Canadian.) I'm afraid the fine for that is a piece of rhubarb. Your fine can be paid to the wallet of PUSH to the BSB (Better Sageteering Bureau).

POP - always POP.

We spend so little time in the room that I just can't justify the expense of a Deluxe. I look at the difference in price and think of what else I could do with that money - support my brother(s), send money to my aunt's mission in Africa, donate it ....

Poly is my dream resort. I'll probably never manage to stay there for more than two or three nights though, and then hop on over to POP. Always POP.

Edit - this was my 5000th post!

I was in a Pop Century room for the first time on my last trip (that's where my relatives were staying). Decent rooms, but they are so small compared to what I'm used to, and there's only one sink. I think my family would get on each others' nerves too much in that small of a room. We spend a decent portion of the day in there, as we come back in the afternoon, and we usually aren't out too late either.

We do Pop too. We're gone at the parks rope drop to closing so Pop works for us.

It rained from around 11am to about 5pm today. Sometimes it was pouring. Didn't get wet once. Blessed, every time the skies opened up we were inside. Came out of Toy this afternoon after an 80 minute standby and everything was flooded but it wasn't raining. Water everywhere. Did Epcot, Studios and closed AK. Good day.

I was wondering. I put the MDE app on my mom's phone and wondered "Why the heck are these MK wait times so short?" A rainy day in Disney is better than a dry one at home! ;)

We usually stay deluxe, but that's because we're DVC members. That, and we use the amenities at the resort. In summer we quite often stay out at the pool at BC until 3 pm. In winter we use the hot tubs. We like staying at BLT or BCV or BWV because of proxiemety to the parks. So nice to be able to just walk back from Illuminations. The rooms are also better. My parents can't share a double bed, nor can I, and I can't sleep on the floor, so if it's all of us, we use our points and get a studio. STUDIO though, for the same reason as you staying at Pop; don't spend that much time in the room; don't need a one-bedroom. I did like Pop when Bestie and I went in January. It was perfect for just us. Buses were fast too, faster than at the deluxes (ironically). The food was good, too.

We spent more time hanging out over at the Deluxe resorts than at our home resort, though.:joyfull: We ate at Kona three times, so we spent a lot of time there, once at AKL at Boma's, and once at BC for Cape May. We were basically out the door in the morning at Pop, headed back and just rested one night (we had been out until after midnight 3 nights in a row, we were exhausted) and hung around the pool for an hour on our last day.

We are talking about going back next January. If I get this internship (it's a paid internship) then we will talk about definitely doing it next year. I could theoretically cover the hotel costs with my AP discount, or we could split it if she decides to use her 7 day non-expiration pass...we'll see. Job first, then vacation.

I've stayed in values for the last several trips. The only thing I really want is a bigger bed. So I'm trying to decide how much a queen bed is worth next time I go. Wouldn't have this problem if Disney would just let me reserve a king bed.

My mom says I'm not allowed to move out because I'm her tech support. I got calls in WDW about "Hey, what do I do for this again?"
My girlfriends kid lives out of town now, he (somehow) can gain access to her computer (far more savvy than I am) and can fix my friends computer or do stuff remotely.

I just had to explain to my Mom that XP is no longer receiving support from Microsoft so she might have to update her decade old desktop soon. No word on whether the printer from 1999 can also get replaced.

Unfortunately it also means soon I will have to explain Windows 8...
