Uh oh, is today the day we just start randomly breaking into musical numbers like an episode of Glee?

I'm not sure what that means though. I think about 20% of the calories in 2% milk are from fat.

Yeah, that is why the FDA is going to change the packaging on food labeling again. One item that will be added is the sugar content. Sugar is generally added when fat is diminished. Gotta make it taste good somehow.

I don't think we have Mr. Softee, but we've been to Mr. Whippy in Chincoteague VA.

We've been there too - many times in fact! We used to vacation down there every April for a few days.
Next year you need to add a few weeks to both ends of the trip.
We're still trying to figure out where to stay next year. This condo is already rented out (apparently to a goat-herder), so we've been checking a few other possibilities. We had to forego our planned stay in Sebastian when DH offered to do the paint job in Jacksonville, but that offer still stands for next year too. And my sister in Bradenton has plenty of extra room, so we can add on to our stay in this area by staying there for free for a few days. Just wish I knew for sure what we'll be doing.

Yes please. Though I've never watched Glee or any singing reality TV shows. Actually I don't watch any of the reality TV shows. I prefer the blood and guts of NCIS and the like.

My favorite soft serve is the Kohrs orange swirl in Point Pleasant

Regular ice cream my favorite is the Bent Spoon in Princeton. The serving sizes are stupidly small, but the flavors are awesome.
The Sunshine Tree Terrace also makes a pretty darn good Citrus Swirl.

I was forced to watch Glee once, never again... The 2 minutes I wind up watching before New Girl comes on is bad enough.

I made a weird choice to cut out most of the procedural shows because I was never really giving them my full attention anymore. It made me accidentally drop all CBS programming as a result.

Actually, it's the house phone. As long as I stay with Rogers (and not Bell), the message will remain.

Is my mother's pain-wracked last message what I want to remember? Keep in mind, that her death was sudden and unexpected.

Boy, we all look at these things differently. I like the theory of Celebration of Life concept.

Here is another thought. Could you play the message over a speaker phone and record it onto another device that you can tuck away somewhere special? Then delete it from the phone. You'd still have it, but you can listen to it when and if you please?

I find it frustrating how were always compared to other countries when it comes to school. Oh china goes to school 300 days out of the year or whatever it is, well congrats. If the US wasn't the land of opportunity, which I think is a good thing, we wouldn't have these problems. I just don't like all the pressure they put on us to learn things. When Im taking 4 AP classes next year as a junior, I wont have any time to actually live which is really frustrating, I will be doing homework all night, every night.

I agree that there is something wrong when AP courses are more difficult and daunting than actual college courses. We now send qualifying students to Community College in lieu of AP courses. They earn college credit for college courses taught by qualified college instructors. No insane homework, no pricey AP tests at the end. A win for everyone.

In the summer the Mister Softee ice cream truck drives through my neighborhood every night at 9pm. They fresh dip the soft serve cones in either chocolate or strawberry. They also make banana splits. Nothing beats sitting around on a summer night and hearing the Mister Softee song!

Oh yummy. We don't have any softee trucks here or anything like that. We just have creepy ice cream truck dudes that you don't deep down want your children approaching.

I know this polar vortex, never-ending winter is horrible, but I found a silver lining: It is killing off those stinkbugs that have been invading the area the last few years!

The researchers are also hopeful that the frozen tundra has knocked off some of the Emerald Ash Borer that has been knocking off our Ash Trees. Maybe even some of those skunks that have multiplied quickly around here.
