The cost of gasoline. :D
Go electric with a small scooter ? ;)

Ours doesn't quite get the concept: he drives around the neighborhood so fast there's not time to grab some money and go out the front door before he's on another street. He must get paid by the mile. Sometimes when my son's had his heart set on a SpongeBob ice cream bar we've gotten on our bikes and chased the truck around the neighborhood for 20 minutes.
That is why you run first, scare him because you forgot your clothes.. THEN get your wallet while he's stunned at the horrible sight. ;)

And with that...just like Pavlov's dogs...I am salivating and craving ice cream.

That image in the video is downright scary!

Yea that thread is a disaster... Was reading through it a bit last night... Threads like that, it is best to stay out of... They often dive into politics, a big no no...
politics, religions and brand talk is often the thing that gets the worst of people out.

I was forced to watch Glee once, never again... The 2 minutes I wind up watching before New Girl comes on is bad enough.

I made a weird choice to cut out most of the procedural shows because I was never really giving them my full attention anymore. It made me accidentally drop all CBS programming as a result.
I honestly found Glee more watchable than Agents of Shield.
That thing is boring beyond belief.. and the acting is terrible.. only coulson does well :/

So, who is ready for a movie based on this guy?

I prefer a movie with Voltron since the 80's IPs are back in vogue... Give me a good He-Man movie and Voltron movie, and I'm good... I may be one of the few who actually liked Michael Bay's Transformers movies, but I fear what he will be doing with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles... Liked G. I Joe, but hated what they did to Dukes of Hazard, one of my favorite TV shows as a kid... If we get snow this weekend, maybe I should have a Dukes marathon...

I "liked" one post that was trying to stake out a middle position, but otherwise stayed out of it. It's an incredibly complex issue and it would be too easy to be misinterpreted. Constructive debate on some issues really needs a face to face conversation.

Agents of Shield is just plain boring. I really don't get how a show created by Joss Whedon and set in the Marvel universe can be the blandest procedural on TV. The guy adapted a cheap teen comedy into one of the best shows on TV, but this he screws up? I blame Meg. She has clout at ABC right?

Glee makes me do this :banghead: every 2 seconds which is a worse offense than putting me to sleep like Shield.

And a fun fact about that Garfield movie: The only reason Bill Murray agreed to do it is because he mistook the film's writer, Joel Cohen, for critically acclaimed writer and director, Joel Coen, when he saw the name on the script. Well that is what Bill insists happened...

Yeah, TMNT's being produced by Nickelodeon Studios and if I'm reading the plot correctly, it's going to stink as bad as The Last Airbender movie. (TMNT are not space aliens!) Take a great cartoon series and when written into movie form it's terrible!

They probably aren't allowed near elementary schools now for anti-obesity reasons.

They were parked at the curb, not on district property. We were able to go home for lunch so I'd throw $.50 in my shoe (yeah) jump on my bike and have dessert before I went back into school. Until I was 40 I was under #100, weight was never an issue. So fortunate, my DD, 22, is 93# and 5'4", kids have a good gene pool, my DH was a bean pole too.

I followed the theory my Mom did when I was a kid. There was always an abundance of cookies, candy and munchies in the house. Nothing was off limits or limited. I have 2 shelves in my kitchen with candy jars on the ledges, one for a variety of cookie, the other for all sorts of hard and chocolate candies. All filled. My kids never messed with them much and it kinda self moderated them.

My evil SIL would come into my house start moving my M&M bowl, putting candy and chips up on fridge
'cause her kids would not stop eating the stuff, she didn't have it in her home. My theory is kids binge on the forbidden or rationed when they come in contact with the stuff. More than not my adult kids will pass it all and go for sliced apple bag in fridge or the baby carrots and ranch dressing.

It is just a different approach. I really don't think banning Coke scoreboards at Middle Schools and High Schools is going to stop kids from binging on crud. I'd like to see how the schools are going to pay for these type of things once the sponsors go away, silly woman.

Physics, lang, us history, and honors pre calc which is treated like an ap class
I took the English Language one. That class...we worked very hard in it, did lots of practice for the AP exam, worked very hard...I got a 3. Senior year...we did basically nothing, I called that class "Free A!" read very little, and altogether just DID very little, very little AP exam prep. I got a 4 on the AP exam. So...no credit for the class that I worked hard in, and credit for the class I didn't work in. Heck, if I had known that, I might have taken another AP Senior year. But I opted for chorus and got a free A. And it was worth the same weighted points as an AP. I took World History (not US). Just make sure you know how to write an essay and that you read the chapter. Don't expect to learn everything from the teacher. And review books are your best friend. I like the Princeton Review books best.
