Too many multiposts gets confusing for everyone involved...For one reason....when you are quoted...no one can tell what you are commenting on.

The other site I'm a member of did away with multi-quote. Not quite sure why they did it, as we never got an adequate explanation, but, we were bummed. Some folks wouldn't be on for a while and that was their way of catchin' up pretty quickly. But, I also see your point to the extent that some of those multi-quote posts would be as long as a regular 15 post page before they were done.

I live in a newer subdivision, and the street has yet to be extended past my house, so plows only come up here when they're doing their final rounds. The neighborhood usually isn't a priority either.

Pedestrians have to walk in the street here because the sidewalks were buried with several feet of snow when the plows came through. If you're trying to catch a bus you have to wait in the street and hope you don't get run over.

I suppose it depends when you're used to it.
a lot of the forums I have been enforce the multiquote and actually outright banned you for "multi replying" (aka multiple posts in a row)

On the "other site" we had members post multiple times into the wee hours of the mornin'. It was kinda' nutty fun sometimes.
