Finishing up watching Snakes on a Plane. Have never seen it all the way through before. I think with all the Sharknado talk, I decided to give it a shot. The cable company calls it suspense/drama, I'm callin' it a dramedy.
What's next: Snakenado...? o_O ;)
Was it the original version or the basic cable version where they edit him to say, "Monkey fighting snakes on this monday plane!" in place of Sam Jackson's popular profanity word.

My town stopped bothering to plow any snowfall 4 inches and under. Or salt because I swear I hit a patch of ice every time I came to a stop sign.

And we are operating on normal schedules here.

Everyone everywhere has simply given up on staying on top of the winter conditions. My city announced we should prepare for horrible road conditions as they're not being pretreated this time around. Low on salt maybe?

Did I mention I was miserable? Because I really am. As much as I want to enjoy the movie the roomie out on then walked out of the room (Up) I just can't. It's also the most depressing cartoon ever.

The only roads that get plowed on a somewhat normal basis here are the ones right by the college, and the main roads. Luckily, the road I live on is right off one of the roads by the college, but I have to go down a hill and then up a hill. If classes aren't cancelled tomorrow (which I can pretty much guarantee they won't), I'll have to drive halfway across town to take an alternate route because I can't get up the hill I live on.

I have a steep driveway. I can't even get up that in the wintertime.

I got a memo on Friday basically saying that if you slip and fall in the parking lot, you should just sue the building managers because they probably won't do jack otherwise. I'm wondering what occurred when the boss contacted them because that memo sounded like it should be read by Samuel L Jackson...

My street is a block long. So we are skipped over until the end mostly. Probably doesn't help that mine and every house across the street look like summer properties, despite only 2 being unoccupied for the winter.

I have no "fascination" for guns, but, I DEFINITELY do have an interest in protecting my family, myself, and my property.
well, I just say because there is a huge difference in defending your family... and seeing the other group... who use it as a member part compensation (flaunting about it everywhere). :p

Was he doing an outdoor show or does he just carry a Mr. Microphone with him everywhere he goes?

or was he doing the "Tow Matter" imitation?

Sounds like a juicy story. :D

One thing we demanded when we built this house in 2006 was a flat driveway. Our previous house had a steep driveway, and we hated it. So this driveway is as flat as can possibly be. Unfortunately that doesn't solve the problem of getting plowed in.
I want these !!!!!!

Not exactly sure what "other group" you are referring to, but, I'm pretty sure I'm not a member of it. I was taught from a very young age about firearms and the uses of them as a tool for providing food or a means of lawful and rightful protection. I was also taught about the consequences of using them in an illegal or unethical manner. I could quote chapter and verse, but, let's just say, I'm fully aware that once the trigger is pulled, that bullet ain't comin' back, nor is the life you may have taken with it.

I live in a newer subdivision, and the street has yet to be extended past my house, so plows only come up here when they're doing their final rounds. The neighborhood usually isn't a priority either.
