Nobody knows! There are several schools of thought, but nobody knows for certain! I watched an A&E special on that, years ago, back when they were still doing the hour-long version of America's Castles.

I used to watch that.
Even better was "Great Castles of Europe" on TLC. Unfortunately, the DVD's are not available widely available for purchase.
If I knew then what I know now, I just would have taped them all. It's not like I didn't watch each episode a dozen times.

Just expressing my internal thoughts here, but why on earth for the ear buds change every time I need to buy new headphones? It's like they are constantly developing new forms, and they always seems to go back to the original form after a while. If it's not broken, don't fix it.

In all seriousness, we have family friends who live near Disney (actually, we're meeting up on Monday!). If we have a problem and need someone there, we have people we can call. So we're good!

Ours is quite powdery this time, so shoveling won't be too bad. We're supposed to take the car to the mechanics tomorrow to get it checked out for the trip. I hate the thought of driving in this!

Have I mentioned how I absolutely despise Apple's new earbuds? They hurt after a while and don't work on any device except the iPod. I have two decent pairs of Sony earbuds. I have been using the same type for years, buy them (they are about $10) when they break, and refuse to use anything else.

I bought 14 pairs of Sony earbuds for Christmas. My kids go through them like candy.

Got them from The Source (formerly Radio Shack) for 1/2 price each. $10 instead of $20. At that price, I bought every pair they had in the store.

Good thing my boys are confident enough to use pink and purple earbuds. Hubby got the black ones.

Same here. Hubby just did a quick shovel so it's not as deep in the morning. His job still expects him at 7. I'm not going in - although the 10:30 am conference call will be VERY interesting with the kids around. Hopefully they will get your roads cleaned up in time for your car's check-up!

Yeah, that's what I pay for them at Target. I wait for them to go on sale and snap 'em up. Right now I've got a pink pair and a grey pair. They last me about 1-2 years. I always have a backup pair.
