So you know how when you book a hotel reservation with Disney, they send you an email saying the balance due, the cost per night, and the deposit? Well, I never got that email. I had the confirmation number and My Disney Experience said my reservation was there, so I didn't worry about it. Plus, I requested that a copy be mailed and I thought my dad had it. Well, he comes to me yesterday and says he doesn't have it. So I called Disney yesterday morning and asked them to resend me the email. And...it never came through. So I called them yesterday evening. This morning it still had not come through. So I gave them my school email address just in case it was my gmail account. Still did not come through. So I called this afternoon. They told me it would come through. It still didn't. And then I called tonight and told them I wanted a copy before I hung up. Well, the girl who I talked to, first of all, had disconnected her previous guest and was confused when she spoke to me. Finally when I got her to help me, she looked and said I had a reservation for tonight. Well, it turns out that she thought today was January 3. I told her no, today is January 2, it was a split reservation that should have been connected. So she cancelled tomorrow's reservation by mistake. So she rebooked it. And then I asked for the confirmation emails again, and I was disconnected. I think I've made 12 phone calls now to Disney for this trip and that never happened once. So I called back, and asked the woman (who seemed more competent than the previous girl) to speak to a supervisor. So now I'm waiting for the call back from the supervisor when I'd really like to be asleep. So I'm really irritated and am going to see what I can get for my troubles. Incompetency. Ugh!

did you check the spam directory of gmail"? it sometimes eats any email from any company (like disney).

also, they didnt give you the statement printed?

I find the image of the snow falling out the window behind my Christmas Tree rather beautiful and I'm rather enjoying watching it fall right now.

in other news... christmas holidays is almost over.. and now back to work. I swear everytime there is holidays or vacations.. I feel like a truck splattered over me.. making me need a vacation of the vacation.

Yeah I checked the Spam folder. All other Disney emails came through, but I gave an alt email to try too. No worries; got the issue solved. :)

I wasn't - but I'm back now!! Hubby had to get up early to shovel to get to work. We have about 8 inches - he's probably shoveling about half that since he went out last night. I'm going to go back to sleep but am waiting until he's finished so I can get him coffee when he comes back in for his phone.

At the risk of sounding like @Nemo14...I hate snow (although it does look pretty!!)

Schools closed here, but government offices open. I wonder what the sidewalks downtown will be like. It's only about 20 degrees and won't get past 23 or so.
