and we're probably warmer than PUSH right now. at least our single digit temperatures are still on the positive side for now.

I remember it bein' as low as about 5 or so degrees here once back in the late '70's/early 80's.
Just did a search...
The all-time low here was -2 on Jan. 31st 1949, and the all-time high was 112 (which I knew) on Sept. 5th 2000.

Can I ask why you always say "Woof"? Not complaining - just curious.

I was just talking to a friend in Vermont. Their current temperature is -10 with -24 chill factor. I didn't dare complain about our current 47 degrees and how I thought it was cold. It's supposed to not get much higher then 38 here tomorrow though. Must be more snowbirds coming down through.

We'd love for it to go up to 47! We're in single digits here and it's getting windy, so our wind chills must be below zero.


I don't want to think about that.

Be prepared. Rant alert:

So you know how when you book a hotel reservation with Disney, they send you an email saying the balance due, the cost per night, and the deposit? Well, I never got that email. I had the confirmation number and My Disney Experience said my reservation was there, so I didn't worry about it. Plus, I requested that a copy be mailed and I thought my dad had it. Well, he comes to me yesterday and says he doesn't have it. So I called Disney yesterday morning and asked them to resend me the email. And...it never came through. So I called them yesterday evening. This morning it still had not come through. So I gave them my school email address just in case it was my gmail account. Still did not come through. So I called this afternoon. They told me it would come through. It still didn't. And then I called tonight and told them I wanted a copy before I hung up. Well, the girl who I talked to, first of all, had disconnected her previous guest and was confused when she spoke to me. Finally when I got her to help me, she looked and said I had a reservation for tonight. Well, it turns out that she thought today was January 3. I told her no, today is January 2, it was a split reservation that should have been connected. So she cancelled tomorrow's reservation by mistake. So she rebooked it. And then I asked for the confirmation emails again, and I was disconnected. I think I've made 12 phone calls now to Disney for this trip and that never happened once. So I called back, and asked the woman (who seemed more competent than the previous girl) to speak to a supervisor. So now I'm waiting for the call back from the supervisor when I'd really like to be asleep. So I'm really irritated and am going to see what I can get for my troubles. Incompetency. Ugh!

In my sixty some years of living up north, I have found that is the best way of doing it. Denial is good.

I do try to mix it up a bit. :)

OK - like I said, just curious. I'm not all that cool, so I figured it must be something that the cool kids say.

On the phone with Guest services. With my parents on speakerphone (normally I handle it myself, but...). Still waiting for an email. Got an automated email about 10 minutes ago...for the wrong reservation. First night of the split rather than the second. Stay tuned

DWifey needed the laptop so I'm now on my phone. Slow enough on the lt and even slower on phone so I may just have to follow along for a bit 'til she relinquishes it. :)
