Be prepared. Rant alert:
So you know how when you book a hotel reservation with Disney, they send you an email saying the balance due, the cost per night, and the deposit? Well, I never got that email. I had the confirmation number and My Disney Experience said my reservation was there, so I didn't worry about it. Plus, I requested that a copy be mailed and I thought my dad had it. Well, he comes to me yesterday and says he doesn't have it. So I called Disney yesterday morning and asked them to resend me the email. And...it never came through. So I called them yesterday evening. This morning it still had not come through. So I gave them my school email address just in case it was my gmail account. Still did not come through. So I called this afternoon. They told me it would come through. It still didn't. And then I called tonight and told them I wanted a copy before I hung up. Well, the girl who I talked to, first of all, had disconnected her previous guest and was confused when she spoke to me. Finally when I got her to help me, she looked and said I had a reservation for tonight. Well, it turns out that she thought today was January 3. I told her no, today is January 2, it was a split reservation that should have been connected. So she cancelled tomorrow's reservation by mistake. So she rebooked it. And then I asked for the confirmation emails again, and I was disconnected. I think I've made 12 phone calls now to Disney for this trip and that never happened once. So I called back, and asked the woman (who seemed more competent than the previous girl) to speak to a supervisor. So now I'm waiting for the call back from the supervisor when I'd really like to be asleep. So I'm really irritated and am going to see what I can get for my troubles. Incompetency. Ugh!
