I stepped out back with the dog to see how it is. Its a good powder that packs well. Perfect for skiing. It makes me want to cancel my football party on Saturday and head for the mountains.

I took the dog out before too - I love when they look at you with that powdery snow on their nose - one of my favorite things about taking a dog in the snow!!

Yeah, that's what I pay for them at Target. I wait for them to go on sale and snap 'em up. Right now I've got a pink pair and a grey pair. They last me about 1-2 years. I always have a backup pair.

My boys go through a pair every 6 - 8 weeks.

I'm about to say something very controversial and may offend some of you:

I find the image of the snow falling out the window behind my Christmas Tree rather beautiful and I'm rather enjoying watching it fall right now.

I will rejoin the snow hate when I have to shovel it tomorrow.

Obviously, no snow hate 'round these parts. Heat hate, yes. But, I'd still rather have 112 degrees vs. -12.
