When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Unfortunately I have experienced those frigid temperatures.
When I grow up, I want to be one if those infamous Canadian snowbirds - 6 months (less a day, for health coverage reasons) in Florida, and 6 months at home in the Great White North.
Guess which months will NOT be spent in Canada.

No. :joyfull: Our neighbors set off fireworks at midnight. (I was actually asleep.) Then my daughter feels the need to be up at 7 am. :grumpy:
7 am? Unholy hour. We drove back from SC one year on New Years Eve, and I went to bed before midnight because I was exhausted. Normally I don't go to bed until midnight-1 am and get up between 9 and 10.

As a Sageteer, I was proud when I read this, as it means that phase one of our hostile takeover of all things Disney as our Lord and Dark Master @Bob Saget and his faithful apprentice @Darth Tater have directed us to do!

I didn't even get to see the new video. Our Mears bus showed America's Funniest Video episodes on our way to the resort and Christmas music on our way back to the airport at Thanksgiving. It just wasn't the same. Thank you for posting these videos; it was great to see them again.

I spent 4 hours today dismantling the Christmas village and bringing all the boxes back into the basement. Saturday I will un-trim (de-trim?) the tree. I do love the holidays but am quite excited to get back to normal!!

My mom would always trick students during snowy days where we started school on time. She would tell them we are getting out early because of the roads. It's amazing how gullible people are sometimes.
When I was in high school we would tell the Freshman that there's a pool on the roof. It was fun to watch them look for it.

I think that was a rather common thing...we did it at my high schools too (I went to 3)...except the one school in Tacoma I went to that actually DID have a pool (though not on the roof)...

What was funny was I was talking to a friend who is currently a Freshman (a very mature Freshman though) and I said to him, before he even went to high school, "Whatever they tell you..." and my other friend, who is 33, walked over and said, "There's no pool on the roof."

The funniest thing was junior year my Spanish teacher, who taught Freshman, had a picture of her photo-shopped with Joe Flacco. And one kid said to her, "Is that your husband?" and she said, "Yeah, yeah that's my husband." And they believed her, and so there was this whole thing going around that she was married to him. Of course the older kids just fed into it.

I remember telling people about a "secret elevator" to a floor that only the janitors could access.
In the real elevator at my high school, this rickety old thing (the buttons didn't even light up, that's how old it is) I looked up at the roof one day and some jokester put a sticker on it that said, "Flight insurance for this elevator available in the main lobby."

Good morning everyone(really afternoon). No, I didn't just wake up, but I'm finally back at home. The party I attended was about two hours away.

Anyway, happy 2014! I like it so far. I slept in today! Hopefully that's a sign of what's to come this year.
speaking of stuff, what is your icon/avatar from?
