I'm a project manager on a government IT contract. We're a help desk for outside people who file electronic documents with a government agency. Been a government contractor in the area of IT for almost 15 years.
Prior to that I was a Police Officer for 17 years before I blew both my knees out.

Well, I'm a homeschooling mom to 2 teenage boys. This means in addition to "Mom" I'm a teacher, guidance counselor, cheerleader, disciplinarian, bus driver, lunch lady, custodian, & the list goes on. Prior to the stay-home-mom deal I was a project assistant with an engineering firm which (sickeningly) paid far more $$ than when I worked where my heart was as a law enforcement communications supervisor. I've had lots of jobs in various fields over the years and, no, I don't hold any pieces of paper that proclaim me an edu-muh-cated old girl. Life has been my education and when it's through I know I'll be looking back saying "Dang! What a ride that was!"

I can't believe that I forgot to mention this but my job did actually afford me the chance to work on a Disney project. I designed to roof for Cookies Too at Castaway Cay and sunk in my very won hidden Mickey. Sadly, no guest will ever see it. My only hope is that one day a guy fixing the A/C unit in the attic will see it and appreciate it.

I'm a stay-at-home mom who isn't home a whole lot! My husband is the operator of a quick-service restaurant that sells chicken, but has cows as spokesmodels ;) I work for him during lunch and other busy times, sometimes. I am also a homeschool mom, homeschooling our almost 14 year old DD, and getting ready to start homeschooling our almost 10 year old DD (both big Disney fans!). How do I feed my Disney obsession? I'm a Disney travel specialist working out of my home!!! Love all my "jobs!" :sohappy:

I work in the NLRB as a Finance/Data entry clerk. I also write fantasy/sci-fi in my spare time. I hope I finish something soon and maybe sell it to Disney or another company associated with the Disney Company.

Hello all,

Very cool to see all of the different professions. As for me, I am a construction sales representative and project manager in Pueblo, Colorado (About 100 miles south of Denver). We do roofing, siding, and seamless gutters. It's kind of tough to do hidden Mickeys on a roof unless you use different color shingles.

I am a Production Scheduler at a growing medical device company (we make spinal implants like screws and plates). DW works for our church running a program for students from the nearby university.

Though neither of us dream of working for Disney we certainly dream of becoming like those of you who make multiple trips each year! Right now we are planning trip number one as a family! Here's hoping our jobs continue to fund our budding obsession!

This is super cool...I love feeling like I'm getting to know everyone better. So far no one else in academia...at least at the college level. Wonder what that says about my profession and about me.

I majored in English, and have a Master's degree in Humanities, with an emphasis on literature studies! I was a substitute teacher for a while, and taught college English classes for a year and a half!

This agency didn't happen to change their name from FLRA to NLRB did it? I worked a contract for them for about 3 months many years ago.

I'm an accountant. Hence all of the obsessive planning and spreadsheets for my trips (of which there are not nearly enough, if you ask me!!)
