What's with the wait times!? (hint.. they're low)

Haha well if you lived in LA you would get it. It’s exhausting to sit in bumper to bumper traffic all the time. Really takes the wind out of your sails when your excited to go somewhere.
I mock you on one hand but on the other hand I understand the demoralising effect of traffic on the will to do things during the limited amount of free time we get as working people. At least when I get off my 11 hour flight I can enjoy my time at Disneyland without any real life distractions getting in my way. (Still jealous though!!!)

The worst part is never the drive, it's the getting there and having to wait 30+ minutes to get through parking and the tram before you can ever get in line to enter the park.

It’s even more fun with a stroller, a toddler and extra stuff. With that said I feel that we usually do pretty well and are at the park gate in about 20 minutes from the time we park.

You must live close. I’m not close and I’m not far and thats the worst place to be. Not close enough to go on a whim but also not far enough to where I plan solid trips. Close enough however to get baited into going when I shouldn’t. I get the least bang for my buck and have to drive an hour 20+ in traffic to do it.

Hey, you got it nice. When I go I drive from Santa Clarita... It's an hour if I leave at 5:30 am, anywhere from 2-3.5 if I leave at the wrong time or if there's an accident on the 5.

Traffic sucks, but I’d rather live somewhere with traffic than live somewhere where there’s not much activity and the nearest hospital/mall/grocery store is an hour away, WITHOUT traffic.

No, thanks.

It’s a simpler life. We need more of that.

Well the nearest grocery store being an hour away is an extreme and so is the traffic in LA. I fantasize all the time about a simpler life. If it wasn’t for all my Family here I probably would have already made the move. I just don’t think human beings were meant to live in congested cities. It brings it out the worst In us. I always tells my family that if one of us had the guts to move I guarantee that we would quickly ask why we didn’t do it sooner. Sure I would miss a lot about home but I think just being in a state of peace is more important than good restaurants and some cool things to do in LA that we do every blue moon (outside of Disneyland).

Jefferson believed America should be made up of small communities of independent farmers. I’m inclined to agree. The importance of community has been lost in the hearts of Americans and it’s best evident in our big cities.

What's with the foliage? Hint: it's overgrown.

So, last week basically equaled the week prior on the retrospective crowd calendars, which was expected. There should be a noticeable dip this week if historical trends hold. Still looking at August 19th to see if patterns change.
