What will Disney announce for Disney World at the 2022 D23 expo?

That’s be perfect! I just never understood how you end up going from like a cartoon fish world to a scientific seabase. The whole thing should be Seabase with the characters visiting, as you said.
It is the worse movie, but Finding Dory and friends would work better, considering where the movie takes place. There might even be a place for Sigourney Weaver to do some voiceover narration.

If one is going to make accusations about Rise, at least be accurate.

13 secs in the simulator at the end? More like 38 seconds, triple the supposed "13 secs"

ROTR is my top favorite attraction...because it just works. It flows from start to finish, when you enter the first preshow to when you exit your RV outside.
The CMs play an integral part in the attraction, and just reminds me what an outstanding job they do daily. The only other ride that I could think where they play so in-character is ToT, which happens to be my second favorite attraction. I sense a pattern.

It has faults yes, starting off with the unreliable cannons and Kylo AA. But those issues can be fixed, if and when given time and resources.

Lining up at HS at 5ish-6am to get a chance to ride ROTR almost 3 years ago will be one of my best memories/trips. It's forever with me and my family and I still talk about it to today.

2 rides NO character restaurant and how many promises broken that were suppose to be delivered? And honestly when it comes to timeline does it matter if its scattered i agree they chose wrong one but we have Star Tours than Muppets than SWL so as i said does it really matter?
I don't care much about a restaurant, but Oga's needs to be bigger. I enjoyed the experience, but it's too small.

IMO, Rise is the very definition of an E ticket ride, in scope and scale. That being said, its re-rideability and reliability leaves something to be desired.

Bringing this back in line with the thread topic, I would love to hear a D23 announcement that they are committing funds to increase its reliability.

Now, if I were king for a day, I would love to hear a D23 announcement that they are re-theming Rise to follow Rogue One’s story line, where you are trying to escape Scarif (and Darth Vader) with the Death Star plans. But that’s just me.

I could get behind that. Especially with Andor releasing soon on D+, and its immediate tie-in to A New Hope. Not a bad idea, at all.

Just don’t retheme/add a Solo storyline to Smuggler’s Run.

Oga's is wayyy too small agreed... okay you dont care but i bet a character experience would sell out each & every day..... & as far as lands go 2 rides 1 being MFSR is a disappointment & honestly i dont hate on it as much as others do

I think Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast in Tokyo have similarly impressive scenes but ultimately fail to be complete home runs. In Mermaid, the Under the Sea scene is well executed, especially for an omnimover.

I agree to an extent (especially about the missing sequence/final wow), but I think the impressive scenes in Tokyo BatB are significantly more impressive than the ones in Mermaid. Even the Under the Sea scene manages to look like it was done cheaply -- it's large and good in places, but in other areas it looks like a C ticket scene with the fish on sticks etc.

BatB, even with its flaws, generally looks like an E ticket; Mermaid doesn't. Of course Mermaid wasn't supposed to be an E ticket, but I think it was supposed to be a D and that might be a stretch too.

Demand/Target Audience is much more of an indication of ticket level versus anything else.
  • Seven Dwarfs, while designed as a D-Ticket, had an E-ticket budget and is just as popular as any other E-ticket, so it's an e-ticket in my book.
  • Na'vi River is meant to be a D-ticket, but it's more of a weaker d-ticket/closer to an C-ticket... but because of its location and target audience, its a D-ticket.
  • Frozen has is a D-ticket, but because of its demand, its seen as an E.

I'm not sure either NRJ or Frozen were ever meant to be more than C tickets (neither has the scope of a D), but NRJ has more intricate details and theming than Frozen. I think it's a much better attraction.

FEA has more animatronics and they're all well done (although none are as impressive as the shaman), but the rest of the ride is pretty barren, plus I really dislike the projected faces.

Both rides are based on bad movies. I think falcon has more potential…

But they have to dump the stupid sorry line. Even the cool Honda…the best (of few AAs) in the land…doesn’t redeem that.

It could/should be an Akbar for a space battle ride. Not hard here.

Of course…they screwed that character like a stray dog…so then they forced a similar one into another ride. And both are kinda mess. That’s what I mean about “misunderstanding the IP”.

Ok…seriously…enough Star Wars. i mean it now 😡🤪

Haven’t heard much…the boards have kinda fallen silent there too the last time I checked?
You’re out of luck if you want to make a last minute trip. Plenty of what appears to be wide open availability beginning 9/1.

I guess we’ll see how well this is truly going at D23 if they move forward with another GS or similar high end hotel?

So like 10 days from now? Not surprised. Once the “itches” got scratched, it will be very interesting to see who signs up?
