Do we think a D23 mention or more a Disney Parks Blog update?Oh, It’s happening - now the structural issues seem to have been resolved. Until Bob wants more bonus.

Does it require either and not just a new page 'magically' showing up on lounge list on their website
This is the company that posts IG updates on flooring so I thought they might make some sort of post about it, maybe they’ll just rely on the vloggers to get the word outDoes it require either and not just a new page 'magically' showing up on lounge list on their website
Maybe there’s a new bench that’ll take priority. This is the company that posts IG updates on flooring so I thought they might make some sort of post about it, maybe they’ll just rely on the vloggers to get the word out
Nemo, no. Little Mermaid, yes. Mermaid is a fine dark ride, it just lacks a good ending. It is a perfect family ride. Please no. While I am a WDW apologist, the Nemo/LM type clam rides are so boring. After the first ride it's just snooze. I agree dark rides on tracks are fine, but we need more.
From what I’ve pieced together is it would be a lounge type venue, complimenting le cellier but not part of le cellier. @marni1971 might cryptically know more.So would this be considered a Le Cellier expansion or a new restaurant?
As you know, I’ve little interest in the park as it is. I’ve not chased it up.From what I’ve pieced together is it would be a lounge type venue, complimenting le cellier but not part of le cellier. @marni1971 might cryptically know more.
I hear you. Nemo is so bland, and maybe too bright inside? (I do like the queue feeling under water/docks though) It's just not engaging. Mermaid is also bland and the story is rushed at the end. It could have been like Pirates, maybe some rough seas when Ursula is around. I dunno. It's not that exciting for a new ride with great outside theming.Nemo, no. Little Mermaid, yes. All I'm saying is we don't always need a new gigantic headliner attraction
A “headline” with this would should a rather large amount of weakness in their park commitmentDo we think a D23 mention or more a Disney Parks Blog update?
Gave up on le outback long ago…so I hope their goal is to lure people like me back. Something like the wine bar by Tutto is always what I would prefer. So would this be considered a Le Cellier expansion or a new restaurant?
I’d go with option 2Does it require either and not just a new page 'magically' showing up on lounge list on their website
Fixes I would suggest for Mermaid would be to:I hear you. Nemo is so bland, and maybe too bright inside? (I do like the queue feeling under water/docks though) It's just not engaging. You’re arguing 2 different things. His argument is that Disney hasn’t been using capex to increase capacity at WDW. Not that they haven’t been improving the resort. In that period Orlando was seeing Pandora, Toy Story Land, Runaway Railway, Galaxies Edge, Rat, Guardians, Tron, Harmonious, Skyliner, riviera, etc
You had me until this…You’re arguing 2 different things. His argument is that Disney hasn’t been using capex to increase capacity at WDW. Not that they haven’t been improving the resort.
The entire Studios project did not increase the park’s capacity. It just replaced under utilized attractions with stuff Guests are more interested in. Which increases attendance but not capacity.
You’re right that Disney has spent like crazy from 2012 to 2022. They’ve done everything short of building a new gate. The resort is in a better much place than where it was in 2015.
I didn’t say the experience is better. You had me until this…
“better” is very subjective here. Did they add more bells and whistles? Sure…
But the rat race/daily frustration factor is higher almost literally across the board since 2012. Not my definition of “better”
I’ll say that typhoon and springs are much better over that period…more DVC units if that’s your jam.
But not really the rest. Epcot has potential…as does DAK…but they’ll not see it through.
I would say the “E word” (which I don’t use because it’s a PR driving tactic) IS the resort. It doesn’t matter what you’re looking at if the process isn’t conducive to leisure…I didn’t say the experience is better.
I said the resort is better. The contents of WDW are better than what they were in 2012. The only thing that they have actively made worse through their construction projects are the nighttime shows.
Yes the LL/G+ & reservation systems have significantly altered the Guest experience. But in 2012 everyone was complaining how absurd it was that they had to book FP+ 60 days out.
Not every new ride needs to be ground breaking.I hear you. Nemo is so bland, and maybe too bright inside? (I do like the queue feeling under water/docks though) It's just not engaging. Mermaid is also bland and the story is rushed at the end. It could have been like Pirates, maybe some rough seas when Ursula is around. I dunno. I mean, just look at this photo from Bioreconstruct’s Twitter feed. Epic Universe is rising at an impressive rate.Look, don't take my stance as something I'm happy about. I personally think WDW needs a big, REALLY big answer to Epic Universe and I want to see as much investment in WDW as possible. I also don't trust or believe in the current management to think they're competent enough to recognize the threat and react appropriately...
