Construction these days are a shell game.

But how do the days go for the customer? The resort is significantly better now than it was 5 years ago. It's not enough, but a lot of areas have improved.
If true very underwhelming. Lipstick on a pig comes to mind.I’m hearing mumblings about something coming to Canada, new food venue most likely in the upstairs, not sure the timeline, but could be a small addition to the Epcot overhaul update. While it’s been wanted for years, there now seems to be some substance to it.

Better than 2017. Look, I think the overall improvements of the last 5 years were the bare minimum needed after a decade+ of neglect. And I'll give them a pass at pausing new expansion due to the pandemic. But D23 will be telling. We will either get a number of new significant announcements or we won't. And with the capex announcement I'm somewhat hopeful, albeit cautiously so.But how do the days go for the customer?
Definitely newer things…but have they just rearranged the deck chairs? Real improvement would be under construction NOW. And they have near nothing being built…again.
.
Move the revolving poutine stand to a more suitable location perhaps? We walked up there for the first time in a very long time. Needless to say it had a very creepy vibe to it.I’m hearing mumblings about something coming to Canada, new food venue most likely in the upstairs, not sure the timeline, but could be a small addition to the Epcot overhaul update. My point…and I’m sure I’ll get the boo boo face…is that you can’t really go through sustained lulls.Better than 2017. Capacity expansions and actual refurbishments. What are you looking for?
Because that is what Epcot needs... More food.I’m hearing mumblings about something coming to Canada, new food venue most likely in the upstairs, not sure the timeline, but could be a small addition to the Epcot overhaul update. Hmmm…a rather tall/long order when you consider how they approach things these days.Capacity expansions and actual refurbishments.
They could always go back to a classic route when it comes to additions and whatnot, instead of making the next biggest/tallest/bestest roller coaster/trackless dark ride.Let’s not forget things cost more today than the did a few years ago so one would expect a higher allocation of funds for projects.
Plus Disney project spending is WAY out of hand. They need to find a way to manage/control that better then they could do more projects for less
Yea, but have you seen what they can do with Rock Work? Artisanal trowel spreading doesn't come cheap.Thats nothing for Disney. Remember the bar on legs and splash pad combined? 700 million. Box coaster? 485 million. Add the Rat clone and you’ve got 1.5 billion just there.
They just can’t keep costs under control.
Pixar's Poutine Place, s'il vous plaît.I’m hearing mumblings about something coming to Canada, new food venue most likely in the upstairs, not sure the timeline, but could be a small addition to the Epcot overhaul update. While it’s been wanted for years, there now seems to be some substance to it.
Please no. While I am a WDW apologist, the Nemo/LM type clam rides are so boring. After the first ride it's just snooze. I agree dark rides on tracks are fine, but we need more. They could always go back to a classic route when it comes to additions and whatnot, instead of making the next biggest/tallest/bestest roller coaster/trackless dark ride.
A couple of more Little Mermaid rides wouldn't hurt the parks (unless they include the current maintenance team...)
This would technically be bothCapacity expansions and actual refurbishments.
No, that is not the alternative. The constructions zone look largely comes from projects in guest areas, replacements, not expansions. The alternative is the parks never expand. And who wants that?
Next to brother bear’s brewpub?Pixar's Poutine Place, s'il vous plaît.
