They could pay cash…

But I also know they have zero intention of large Capitol investment…in their eyes…they just finished that up

What do you greedy children want?
It would be good business If they built high capacity rides with Large queue's . It would pay for itself and golly Genie might even work because they would have capacity!!!

IMO what WDW needs is rapid expansion in Epcot and Animal kingdom to make them full day parks not a new Park. By adding 4-5 new or fully reimagined rides to each of these parks they could add 15000 ( 7500 per park ) new visitors and you wouldn't even see them due to sufficiently large queue's that hold the people out of the park's walk ways. A 3 billion investment and you would gross 600 million in new ticket sales a year let alone food and merch and hotel revenue . They don't need a new park just finish the monsters they have. They need to bite the bullet and play catch up, then they can go back to slow pace maintenance add on's. But this is what a Marty Sklar would do, not these jokers of today.
I wasn't talking about a new park. Talking about expansion of parks. Exactly what you are talking about.

As long as they put a Luke on a stick somewhere along the track.
Lb for lb…the lightsaber finale to that chase was one of the best special effects sequences in history…put together in 1982?

In slo mo…they had planted mini charges on the trees in the background and time the bolts to hit them off the deflections.

I agree with good business longterm…but that’s not how the modern management would see it.

When people started linking Iger to “blue ocean”…I made the mistake (as usual) of reading the source material and a lot of other commentary on it.

It all seems so reasonable - a hallmark of university of Chicago Type doctrine - but in practice it does almost the opposite. In practice it’s pump and dump. And that’s what Iger ultimately will leave behind.

So I see zero major expansions coming. It sets a bad precedent and is contrary to “master of your own domain” that the management dictates.

Not defending it but there’s two rides.
Aren’t you kinda defending it? They’ve shown a penchant for “announcing big” for publicity and delivering small for cuts, have they not? Thanks, Bobs
Genie+ works specifically because they don’t have the capacity. The value increases when the lines are longer.
Well…it SELLS because of this….the term “works” is still highly debatable
